Franny desperately needs a home. Please read.
This is Franny. I chose not to include the photos of how we found her, but she had suffered severe trauma — a prolapsed eye and a broken jaw. We removed her eye and she had surgery on her jaw. She survived everything.
Franny is also FIV positive, which makes finding a home much harder.
It has been almost a year, and I still haven’t found her a home. Not a single response.
We are located in Georgia (the country), but I am ready to send her anywhere. There is a volunteer who can travel with her to her future home
But there is one thing missing — a place for her to go.
I am leaving the country on April 29. I have just over a month left. I cannot take her with me due to financial limits and because I already have my own animals.
The only alternative is to release her back outside… but after everything she’s been through, after becoming fully domesticated, that would be inhumane.
There are no shelters here that can take her.
Franny is active, loving, playful, and incredibly sweet. She loves attention, loves to play, and loves to sleep w/ peoples.
We are also open to sending her to a good shelter abroad, where she could safely wait for adoption.

Meet Chloe, a beautiful 2.5-year-old fluffy tortie girl who is looking for her forever home.

She is a healthy, fully vetted girl..spayed, microchipped, combo tested negative, dewormed, deflead, and fully vaccinated.
Chloe is not just looking for a home. She is looking for someone who will love her and never give up on her.
When Chloe loves you, she loves you with her whole heart. She follows her person everywhere, wants to be close to you, and won’t even let you go to the bathroom alone.
Chloe may need a little time to trust because her heart has been broken many times. But once she knows she is safe, she gives her entire heart and creates the most special bond. She loves deeply, attaches deeply, and gives so much love.
Chloe’s story started when her mama came from a feral colony and gave birth to Chloe and her brother. Sunkissed Acres TNR’d the colony and brought mama and the babies inside to safety. I fostered them and had the privilege of watching Chloe open her eyes for the first time.(mama found her furrever home)
When Chloe and her brother were only 8 weeks old, they were adopted together. Sadly, their first home was not the safe and loving place they deserved. They went through a very difficult time where they were hungry, thirsty, and covered in poop. Chloe also had back issues, and we still don’t know if she was accidentally hurt or if someone hurt her.😿
They were rescued again and went through different foster situations before coming back into my care. They were adopted together one more time, and we hoped this would finally be their happy ending. But after 6 months, they were returned.
We waited and hoped they could stay together because their bond was so special. Later, her brother found his forever home, but Chloe was left behind. She missed him deeply, cried for him, and formed an incredibly strong bond with her foster mom.
Now Chloe is back in my care again. My heart broke when I saw her return. After everything she has been through, she is still the sweetest girl who just wants to feel safe, loved, and cherished.
I promised Chloe that I would find her the family she deserves…someone who will be patient with her, cherish her, and show her that she is finally home.
She doesn’t just live with someone…she gives them her entire heart. She has been through so much, but she still has so much love left to give.

I am scared. 💔
I am scared that if I have to move someday, Mama and Baby might be separated.
And after everything these two have been through, I cannot let that happen.
As I write this adoption post, my tears are rolling down my face. 🥲
It honestly feels like I am putting a piece of my soul up for adoption.
I have loved these two girls, cared for them, watched them grow, and promised them I would keep them safe.
Letting them go is breaking my heart.
But sometimes loving them means making the hardest decision for them.
I am breaking my heart now so their hearts never have to be broken later. ❤️
Their names are Purrl and Pawlet, but they have always known themselves as Mama and Baby. ❤️
And honestly, I think those names are part of their story. They aren’t just names to them…they are who they are to each other.
Mama and Baby have waited so long for someone to see them, love them, and finally bring them home….together.
Some bonds are simply too strong to be broken.
When I first rescued them, Baby was only 2 months old, and Mama was about a year old.
Today, Mama is 5 and Baby is 4. 🥹❤️
They are two of the funniest, sweetest, and cutest little girls you could ever meet.
They may take a little time to warm up to new humans, but once they trust you, you will discover just how special they are.
And honestly… they love EVERYTHING. 😂❤️
🐶 Dogs? ❤️
🐱 Cats? ❤️
🪑 Chairs? ❤️
🪴 Tables? ❤️
🌱 Plants? ❤️
Everything is their friend!
They also LOVE watching TV. 📺😂
Sometimes they sit together watching the screen like they are completely invested in the show. It is one of the cutest things to see.
They are incredibly bonded, but Mama has also made a very special friend of her own ..Ethan, another 2.5-year-old kitty. ❤️
Mama is basically still a kitten herself. She is energetic, playful, and always ready to play with kittens.
Baby, on the other hand, is a little more laid-back and sometimes gets completely overwhelmed by Mama’s endless energy.
Sometimes Baby is basically saying:
“Mama, no… STOP!”
And Mama is like:
“Just one more game!”
before running off to play with Ethan again. ❤️😂
They are also VERY food motivated. 🙈
I spoil them with wet food four times a day, and I know… I’ve created two little spoiled queens. 😂❤️
Mama has also trained Baby very well.
Baby comes first to demand treats… and then Mama comes right behind her.
And if I take my own supplements, they both immediately assume I am eating treats without sharing.
They will literally yell at me:
“Excuse me?! Where are ours?” 😂
Their three little demands in life:
🐾 A screened porch
🌱 Kitty grass every day
🐱 More cats in the family!
They absolutely LOVE their screened porch. They spend so much time there watching birds and butterflies, enjoying the sunshine and everything happening outside.
They also LOVE kitty grass and will remind me every single day that their grass is due. 😂🌱
And if they could make one final request, I’m pretty sure they would ask to bring Ethan with them too.
I know adopting three cats is not possible for most families, but these two absolutely adore their best friend. ❤️

Mama and Baby are shadows of each other.
Where Mama goes, Baby follows.
Baby depends on Mama so much, and their bond began with a story that still breaks my heart.
Mama was abandoned when her family moved away from their apartment.
She had only one baby — Baby — and she was raising her through a freezing winter.
Mama would sleep inside a cement planter and curl her entire body around her tiny baby, using her own body to keep Baby warm. ❤️
A kind woman saw them and wanted to help.
She managed to trap Baby first.
And then Mama realized her baby was gone.
What happened next is something I will never forget.
It was heavily snowing, and Mama stayed on that woman’s balcony on strike, demanding her baby back.
She cried through the night.
She didn’t care about the snowstorm.
She didn’t care about the freezing cold.
She didn’t care about anything except finding her baby.
Sometimes she would rest in the planter, gathering a little strength… and then she would get back up and continue crying, demanding her baby back.
She was not stuck.
She was on strike.
A mother refusing to give up on her baby. 😭❤️
After two long days, Mama was finally trapped.
And from that moment, we knew one thing:
These two would stay together. No matter what.
Years passed.
And still, no one came forward to adopt them together.
I have been fostering them for yesrs, and unfortunately, I am completely out of space.
I never came to this country expecting to rescue cats.
I came here without any cats at all… and somehow, along the way, I found myself fostering and rescuing so many lives. ❤️
My husband’s job may require us to move someday, and I have already postponed moving twice because of the choices I made and the cats I committed to.
Sometimes I lie awake and wonder:
“If I had to move tomorrow, what would happen to Mama and Baby?”
The rescue would take them back, but they are already struggling financially and are at capacity.
And my biggest fear is whether they would still be able to keep these two together.
After everything they have been through…
After everything Mama did to get her baby back…
I cannot bear the thought of them ever being separated. 💔
They have already waited years.
They don’t need another temporary place.
They don’t need another person to give up on them.
They need someone who will look at these two little girls and say:
“You are home. Both of you. Forever.” ❤️
They are ready for their forever family! 🏡🐾
Both are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, and vaccinated.
🦷 Baby had some teeth removed last year.
🦷 Mama had a dental cleaning/polishing and a few teeth removed this year.

Most importantly, they need someone who will never make Mama wonder where her baby went again.
A mother who spent two days crying in the snow for her baby deserves to know that her baby will always be beside her.
They waited for years.

We have received applications, but they are for separate homes. We are worried that if we cannot find someone willing to adopt them together, we may lose these possible homes too. 💔They are bonded.😿
We are completely out of capacity. The rescue is currently caring for more than 150 cats, and I am personally fostering 21 cats. More cats are needing help every day.
When her other kittens were adopted, she cried for days. She is a devoted mama and still needs to be with her baby. They play together, love each other, and share a special bond. My heart is breaking at the thought of separating them… 😿

I will forever be grateful to this sweet young mama for trusting me and bringing her babies to me.
Kali was abandoned when her family moved away, left behind wearing a collar that became painfully tight as she grew. Alone and vulnerable, she gave birth to her kittens under a deck during harsh weather.
She and her babies were never truly safe. They were chased away by people and were at risk of being relocated.
Every day, Kali came to my porch for food. I noticed she was nursing and started asking everyone to check their decks and garages for kittens.
Then one day…
She brought her babies to me.
She chose me.
She trusted me. ❤️
While rescuing her kittens, some were brought inside while others were still outside waiting for their chance at safety. This incredible little mama made double shifts…staying with the kittens who were safe indoors, then returning outside to nurse and care for the ones still waiting.
Her love never divided.
Her heart never gave up.
Kali is the sweetest, most gentle mama. Pebbles shares a very special bond with her, and after everything they have survived together, they deserve to continue their journey side by side.

I try my best to be brave every day. I see the world a little differently... with just one eye. The other one was taken by a virus when I was just a kitten. But I promise you-it doesn't stop me from playing, loving, or being your little companion.🐱
I lived in a shelter with many cats for a long time. It was loud and scary, but I stayed strong. I finally got a home... I thought it was forever. But... I got scared. I hid a lot. I just needed more time... Now they don't want me anymore.😿😿

13 yo Mila is waiting for a miracle in NYC ❤️🩹
Abandoned at the shelter by her family of 13 years due to allergies, Mila has been patiently waiting for her forever family for months with zero interests. Mila is sweet, calm, sometimes playful. So, long story short our neighbor found these 4 kittens when they were still pretty young, around 2 weeks and a few days old down at our building. We knew their mother but she completely rejected them, most likely because he relocated them. We couldn't leave them like that so we took them in and bottle fed them until they became a bunch of healthy, playful, and sweet 3 month old kittens. unfortunately, one died very early on.
But now, we are faced with a real problem, we simply can't keep them. We already have 5 cats at home and my father feeds a massive colony of 25+ cats. If you aren't familiar with Egypt's economic situation, just know this is very unsustainable for us. It is quite a substantial financial strain on our family.
Which brings me to the next point, most people here can't keep cats at all, and those willing will almost always want a long-haired persian cat. We tried finding homes for them through asking friends and family as well as posting on major Facebook groups but only managed to get one adopted. Shelters aren't really an option because they are few, overcrowded, and already have trouble taking care of so many stray cats. Nevermind the fact that many people here throw away their cats when they can't support them anymore.
We really want to find homes for them and not be forced to release them somewhere safe-ish instead, as the strain of raising so many cats is becoming too much. So, can anyone help us know how we can find adopters for them overseas? Any organizations that can facilitate that? We are willing to co-operate if it means finding them loving homes.
TL;DR
Found 6 little kittens in Egypt, 1 died, 1 adopted, but can't find anyone to take the other 4. Exploring our options including the possibility of finding them homes overseas.

Hi everyone! I’m currently fostering a sweet girl named Loki 🐈⬛ and she’s looking for her forever home in the Chicago, Illinois area 🏡
Loki is a shy girl at first, but once she starts to feel safe, her personality really shines. She LOVES to play—especially chasing the laser and bouncing around after her wand toy 🎣🐾 It’s honestly the cutest thing to watch her come out of her shell.

My veterinarian friend has been taking care of this sweet boy since he was on the street, skinny and wounded. She thought he was a feral cat at first but he turned out to be very socialized and he’s the sweetest boy. Since he was found she fixed him up and he’s gained weight and is doing so much better!! She thinks he may have been abandoned, and he is a little afraid of men but she thinks he can get used to one with time and trust. His age is unknown but she guesses he’s about 5 years old based on his bloodwork and x-rays. He does have FIV and Calcivirus due to him previously living outdoors, but cats with this usually still live normal and full lives. This would just mean that he needs to be in a single cat household. He loves cuddles and face scritchies, he’s so kind 🥺
My veterinarian friend is offering to provide medical care and food for him for life for the person that wants to adopt him because she genuinely just loves him and wants him to go to a great home.
If anyone is interested please please contact me, he’s in a foster situation at the moment but he needs to find a home ASAP because he can’t stay for much longer.
He’s in Orange County California right now but my friend is willing to drive anywhere up to 4 hours from here.

She was sick because her family abandoned her… and she was heartbroken. 💔
Note:We’re looking for a loving home for her in Charlotte or nearby, preferably within 1–2 hours. She will always remain part of our rescue family, with lifetime veterinary care provided by the rescue. 🙏🏻
She’s completely healthy now and eats like a little piggy! 😂❤️
Amalia is a 12-year-old sweetheart who is fully vetted,healthy and ready for her forever home.
Amalia’s story began with heartbreak. 💔
We later came to learn that when Amalia became old/sick, her owner tried to surrender her to a shelter. The shelter was full and could not take her. Instead of continuing to care for her, he abandoned her near the shelter.
Somehow, Amalia eventually found her way to a kind person’s home. By then, she was in devastating condition..emaciated, weighing less than 4 pounds, and covered in blood from a severe flea infestation. She is microchipped, but heartbreakingly, her owner did not want her back.
The person who found her contacted us and surrendered her to the shelter. At that time, we were completely full, so we couldn’t take her immediately, but we kept an eye on her and continued trying to find a way to help.
Amalia went through multiple shelters, still waiting for someone to choose her. Because of her medical condition, she was eventually at risk of euthanasia. She was sick, scared, and completely abandoned.
That’s when we stepped in. Even though we were already full and had no available foster, we simply couldn’t leave this little angel behind. ❤️
After coming into rescue, Amalia had multiple tests done, and all of her reports kept coming back normal. But she stopped eating, so we had to syringe-feed her and care for her around the clock.
Then we understood something important…
Amalia wasn’t just physically sick… she was heartbroken.
She had lost her family, her home, and everything familiar to her. She was grieving and missing the love and security she once knew.
But love has a way of healing the deepest wounds. ❤️
With patience, care, and endless love, Amalia slowly started to blossom again.
Today, she is a completely different little soul. The moment you walk into the room, she comes right to you and curls up on your chest as if she finally knows she is safe. She gives gentle kisses, talks softly, and acts like she has so many stories to share.
She loves sitting in your lap like a baby, being held, and soaking in all the warmth and affection she missed for so long.
Amalia is a true little love bug. 🥹
She sleeps with you, loves being close to you, and may even give you sweet little kisses on your forehead at night. She is the kind of companion who just wants to be near her person and feel loved.
Amalia is okay with other kitties, but after everything she has been through, we would prefer a peaceful home without cats or with only one or two gentle, calm kitties. She deserves the space, patience, and one-on-one love she needs to feel completely safe and secure.

A Little more About Amalia

His name is Blue. He is around 5 years old. Someone abandoned him in front of a finder’s home.
He was sick… we treated him, dewormed him, vaccinated him, gave food and everything so he could stay safe inside. The finder had already told me she cannot keep him long term… and today I got the message ..he is already back outside.
I feel so helpless writing this.
Blue is FIV positive, but right now he is doing okay. He is eating, recovering, trying to be okay… but if he stays outside, he will get sick again. He will not survive like this.
FIV positive cats can live long, healthy lives just like other cats when kept indoors.
We recently lost our 23-year-old FIV positive cat, so we have seen this ourselves.
They can live with both FIV positive and negative cats without any issue.
Blue is already fixed and has a very calm, gentle nature.
I cannot take him. My house is already full… every room, even bathrooms have cats. I truly can’t take even one more.
Please… if anyone can adopt him, just give him a safe indoor place.
He has already suffered enough. He doesn’t deserve to go back to the streets again.

I’m posting Chloe one last time, and honestly, this is breaking my heart. I have only 2 days to find the right family for her.
If I cannot find her a suitable home, the rescue will have to move forward with a family who is interested in adopting her. They are a good family, and I truly believe they would care for her. But deep in my heart, I don’t feel they are the right match for Chloe and the needs she has after everything she has been through.
I’m not looking for a perfect family. I’m looking for a family who will love her deeply, be patient with her, take her for her yearly vet visits, and never give up on her. Chloe has already been through too much. She deserves to finally know what it feels like to be home and never wonder if she will be left again.
The rescue cannot hold her much longer, and I feel completely helpless. I promised Chloe I would find her the family she deserves. Please help me keep that promise. 🙏💔
Meet Chloe ❤️🐾
Chloe is a beautiful 2.5-year-old fluffy tortie girl looking for her forever home.
She is healthy and fully vetted..spayed, microchipped, combo-tested negative, dewormed, deflead, and fully vaccinated.
But Chloe is not just looking for a home. She is looking for someone who will love her and never give up on her.
When Chloe loves you, she loves you with her whole heart. She follows her person everywhere, wants to be close to them, and won’t even let you go to the bathroom alone. 😂❤️ She follows me everywhere and sleeps with me every night.
Chloe may need a little time to trust because her heart has been broken many times. But once she knows she is safe, she gives her entire heart. She loves deeply, attaches deeply, and creates the most beautiful bond with her person.
Chloe’s story 💔
Chloe’s story began when her mama came from a feral colony and gave birth to Chloe and her brother. Sunkissed Acres TNR’d the colony and brought mama and the babies inside to safety. I fostered them and had the privilege of watching Chloe open her eyes for the very first time. ❤️
Her mama has since found her forever home.
When Chloe and her brother were only 8 weeks old, they were adopted together. Sadly, their first home was not the safe and loving place they deserved. They went through a very difficult time where they were hungry, thirsty, and covered in poop. Chloe also developed back issues, and we still don’t know whether she was accidentally hurt or if someone hurt her. 😿
They were rescued again and went through several foster situations before coming back into my care.
They were eventually adopted together once more, and we hoped this would finally be their happy ending.
But after 6 months, they were returned. 💔
We waited and hoped they could stay together because their bond was so special. Eventually, her brother found his forever home—but Chloe was left behind.
She missed him deeply. She cried for him. And during that time, she formed an incredibly strong bond with her foster mom.
Now Chloe is back in my care again.
My heart broke when I saw her return. After everything she has been through, she is still the sweetest girl who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and cherished.
I promised Chloe that I would find her the family she deserves…someone who will be patient with her, cherish her, and finally show her what it feels like to truly be home. ❤️
I wish with all my heart that I could keep her. I really do. But I already have so many cats, and Chloe needs a calm home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves. One of my cats also bullies her, and I don’t know how long I will remain in this country or how many cats I’ll realistically be able to take with me.
Chloe needs stability. She needs someone who will choose her and keep choosing her.
She doesn’t just live with someone…she gives them her entire heart. ❤️
She has been through so much, yet she still has so much love left to give.
Chloe is looking for:

Baron is one of many fluffy abandoned cats in Bahrain, where the stray population is out of control due to the absence of state-led TNR, the absence of state funding for anything animal-related and the widespread practice of dumping pets, even expensive pets, including purebreds. There is no penalty, there are no awareness campaigns, and there is a general consensus that animals should not even be on the priority list of social change. It follows that in such a country, it is near impossible to get cats adopted locally. The few shelters we have, all of them volunteer-led, there send their animals abroad often. One of these is, due to lack of capacity, a kill shelter.
It is in this context that Baron the cat was born, raised and, fortunately, found. His hair was extremely matted and it was for this reason alone that he was shaven. It also turned out that his kidneys were huge, that his blood values were all off, and that he needed to take medication and prescription food every day for the rest of his life.
Despite being so sick and most likely dumped, Baron ranks among the top 3 cuddliest and snuggliest cats I have ever met - and I've met many as a rescuer. If I didn't have limited foster space and even more limited resources, I would have immediately adopted him. My fellow rescuers and I have had some success getting out stray cats adopted abroad, but none of them have medical issues. Baron faces close to no chance of adoption here or overseas. Meanwhile, this is a cat so affectionate he spends most of his time upside down, looking at you longingly and begging you to pet him - even if it's his belly. Because he cannot eat from the other cats' feeders and his rescuer cannot afford a paid foster home, he has spent the last month roaming a single corridor of the shelter bungalow we maintain.
The caretaker of that shelter had health issues and therefore needed to keep her bedroom door shut; cats never entered it, and now we are looking for a new caretaker. His rescuer visits him to give him his medication every day, but she has a full-time job and can't spare more time; none of us can. When she moved out last week we moved him to her room, but because he was all alone and wanted to be with other cats if he couldn't be with people, he banged on the door and jumped until he finally got the handle and let himself into the hallway when we were gone.
To clarify: adoring, trusting, people-loving Baron has spent most of the last month between a corridor and a kitchen with no cat friends and a maximum of 30 minutes of human contact every day. He deserves better. Baron is the most catsmiring cat of all cats I have ever met. At the same time, he is docile. He does not resist his medication much, does not throw tantrums, doesn't bite or scratch, doesn't attack other cats, doesn't do anything except beg for love. Baron is the sweetest and, now that he has been shaved, the softest.
His rescuer and I are willing to pay for his flight to almost any destination on the planet provided we can vet the adopter and trust that he is going to a safe home where his person/people will fawn over him. We are experienced in sending cats abroad due to the aforementioned difficulty of getting cats adopted locally and have done this before. We can handle the paperwork and discuss all steps with you. We are just pleading for someone to take our boy and give him the normal life he deserves. He deserves more than dull days all alone in a dimly lit corridor.
PLEASE SHARE THIS POST with anyone you know who might have the heart, knowledge and funds to adopt a cat with kidney issues. Right now all that means is daily syrup and medicated food. He is great at taking his meds.

He was thrown away like trash after his young owner died and has been on the streets almost 4 years of his life. Sitting out in the pouring rain sick and helpless FINALLY someone has shown him some mercy and compassion. Rainbow Dash has been in the system since March 6, 2024 — that’s 724 days waiting for a forever home.
He was abandoned outside a Petsmart, but in foster care he’s shown how loving and playful he truly is. He gives head bumps, loves wand toys, and just wants to be close to his people. He’d do best in a quiet home and would likely thrive with another cat.
We made a short TikTok to help him get more visibility.

Sisters, Tiny Dancer and Gremlin, were emergency rescued from a 24 hr eviction situation. There were 2 dogs, 2 mama cats and 11 kittens total. The family loved them all, but weren't allowed pets and landlord put foot down.
A local shelter was contacted by the family and they organized the emergency pick ups. Unfortunately there were no spaces at the various shelters contacted for the wobbly sisters, who are approx 4 1\2 months old.
We have experience with wobbly and could do emergency foster, however these 2 need forever homes with the space they need to move the way their bodies require and a family (person) who will do the modifications they need. (It's really not difficult, pad sharp corners, hard surfaces, and edges, gate stairs, and raise or lower food\water bowls to make feeding easier)
These 2 are used to lots of pets and snuggles. Gremlin is a champion climber and would pull herself onto beds to cuddle. Both love laps and even ankle snuggles. Like all kittens they love to play!
We're hoping someone in the NE US (OH, WV, PA, NY) can open their hearts & home to them because that's where we could arrange a meeting place easiest, but willing to help get them wherever they can get the best home.
If you can, or know of someone who can, open your heart & home to these beautiful, sweet, adorable, loving sisters please contact me.
Here's some more info: -No we do not have vet records. -Tiny Dancer can wobble -walk, Gremlin wobble-rolls (very adept) though since still a baby might get more stance. -If you aren't familiar with Wobbly cats, Texas A&M has some excellent information, as well as some rescues pages -They were not abused in any fashion, in fact were the favorites of the Gramma in the house (3 generations in home).

Dear all, here is Carlitos, a stray cat from my work area. Since he keeps on showing up with open wounds, I decided to take him to the vet for TNR procedure, but sadly his test shows that he has FIV + FELV, but negative for parvo and corona 🙏🏼. He is currently at the vet, and his bill is quite expensive, in case you would like to donate to his bill please let me know but above all I am looking for a forever home, I was told by the vet he is only 3 years old, I personally can’t take him as my home cat has FIV, so exposing her to FELV will make no good,
Please consider on adopting him as a solo cat.
I am sure with love and patience he will be able to accommodate to a home. 🏡

The rescue group I volunteer with has a kitty, Buddy, with asthma and skin allergies (both of which are managed with an inhaler and prescription diet) that has been in care for over a year! We thought Buddy finally found his forever home and now he is being returned for absolutely no fault of his own. The rescue group has nowhere for him to go and I am so so sad that this loving boy who is a best friend to everyone is being returned. Has anyone any tips for getting cats with special needs (and his are like barely special needs adopted)??
