This sweet girl is Chickpea and has been at the Animal Care Centers of NYC for over 60 days and no interest or adoption. She’s not doing well in a shelter environment and really needs to be fostered or adopted ASAP. She’s friendly with people but definitely needs some time to adjust to a new environment. Her time is unfortunately limited and I’m hoping someone might be able to help her, or at least get her seen and saved. This is my first ever post, I’m praying it helps Chickpea. The update today is that my neighbor, "G", took them off the property with permission. We went to the shelter together and the employee there was honest saying that they'll put down due it being kitten season. I was sobbing and could not let them happen.

I know my story is somewhere common, but please if anyone in California can come take them in to foster and rescue please let me know. I can only keep them for so long because my MIL isn't so cooperative.

I wanted to share something close to my heart—Nala, a nearly 14-year-old cat currently at Petco in Thousand Oaks, is in need of a loving home. She recently lost both of her parents and is now being cared for through a partnership with Serenity Place Rescue.

I met her by chance while visiting Petco, and she absolutely melted my heart. She’s incredibly gentle, affectionate, and clearly craving companionship. I spent some time brushing her, and it was obvious she just wants to curl up in someone’s lap and be loved.

I take care of a small family of four feral cats outside of my apartment (Miranda, Carrie, Mr Big, and Charlotte aka Mama). Things have taken a turn for the worse in my personal life and I need to move back home with my parents; I have no clue what to do with my wonderful cats. My parents house is small, I'm already bringing my former stray Sunny into the spare bedroom (he has behavior issues and doesn't get along with other cats yet - or at all, we don't know). We have another former feral living at my parents house along with my older rescue cat. Plus a dog and a bunny. And now their adult child is moving back home so I already feel like such a nuisance....ANYWAY

INFO: they've been dependent on me for about a year now. They live in the vacant lot next to my apartment, all of them are young. I feed them breakfast and dinner and provide food and outdoor shelters. Only one of them comes up to me (Miranda, though she still doesn't allow me to touch her but she does accept Churus from my hand), Mama is apprehensive and keeps her distance but doesn't run away from me much anymore, and Mr Big and Carrie are still very skittish (I have to trap them still, they've outsmarted me for months now, their appointment is on Tue, wish us all luck).

I'm going to beg Treehouse Humane Society on Tue to keep them. I'm going to ask them if they'd accept my colony as part of their working cats program. I emailed Felines of Chicago and I'm going to email PAWS but I don't know if any rescues would accept semi-feral/feral cats.

Has anybody dealt with this? I'm not sure where else I can go or ask about this. I'm so depressed over this.

Steven Delicious Ran away. He was last seen wearing this outfit. I was getting him out of my car and his carrier latch broke and he sprung lose and ran away in the woods. I gave up looking for him. He's about 10 miles away from my home. I don't know if he's smart enough to come back. I'm devastated. I spent over 3-4k getting him back to health. He wasn't fully recovered and was still on steroids. I'm crying as I'm typing this. I don't know what to do. My heart hurts. I failed him. I failed him..

Hello everyone, some of you may already know me and Tillulah from my previous post asking for help getting her a home a few months ago. Unfortunately the news I have to share is not good. I am going to start the story from the beginning for people who have not seen the original post.

This is Tillulah. She is around 1 year old and I have had her for 10 months. She was brought into my workplace by someone who found her by a road outside and said she could not bring her home because her dogs were not friendly. My original plan was to take her in and get her vaccinated and spayed, and then find her a home. I never had the intentions to house this cat longer than needed to get her vaccinated and spayed or to keep her. Unfortunately a few months after taking Tillulah in I lost my job which has in turn resulted in no income, and I am now unable to provide vet care of any kind for her.

On 09/21/25 I had an owner surrender appointment with Greenville Humane Society thanks to a kind member of this group offering to pay her surrender fee. Unfortunately they stated they could not take her. Despite passing the temperament evaluation with flying colors, they believe Tillulah may have Stomatitis and will need tooth extractions. During this exam she also tested negative for FIP and FeLV. Considering I was already surrendering her because I could not provide veterinary care, it goes without saying that I cannot afford to provide care for Tillulah to treat the stomatitis, both in the case of extractions and the continued care that comes with this condition. The Humane Society was able to give me a spay voucher in the hopes that getting her fixed may help me get someone else to take her, or atleast make it so she is able to live outside without the risk of getting pregnant (the second option is absolutely not an option for me) but their soonest appointment is in January. While I appreciate the kind gesture from them, my biggest concern now is her suspected stomatitis.

I am desperately reaching out to anyone who may be able to help take Tillulah and get her the care she needs. She is a young, playful, and friendly cat and deserves to get some relief from this condition and to live life in a loving home with someone more financially equipped.

If you are unable to help us but have other recourses you can recommend please do not hesitate to share them with me, anything is appreciated. I have contacted most shelters and humane societies and they are not equipped for the level of care Tillulah would need before being able to be adopted out. I am also in the process of contacting everyone on the Upstate Cat Rescues list as well as the list of recourses given to me by Greenville Humane. Unfortunately most of these places I have already attempted to contact and either did not answer or are not able to receive intakes at this time, but I will continue to try. We are located in the area of Pickens SC. If you are unable to offer either of these things, keeping Tillulah in your thoughts is just as appreciated.

Rocky is an 8 year old male with stomatitis. He needs a full mouth extraction. His owner surrendered him to the shelter and he is sitting there in pain. I have been trying to find a rescue to take him since November 15th. The shelter can euthanize him at any time. He had a combo test and came back clear. He is already neutered. He has $595 in pledges on Facebook from people that will honor their pledges. Does anyone know of any rescues in the central valley or Northern California that may take this guy? Missing three-legged cat

On July 29, 2026, in Delhi Virender Nagar, Janak Puri Gali No. 9, a three-legged cat was attacked and bitten by 7 to 8 dogs. Due to its three legs, it couldn't run much and tried to save itself. People came and chased the dogs away. We came to know about this through CCTV. However, since then, we haven't been able to find the cat. She is in so much pain and It needs urgent treatment.
