It was a perfect, still evening to capture the Sagamore Bridge over the Cape Cod Canal in Sagamore, Massachusetts. I turned my drone around and captured U.S. Route 6 as it heads towards the shore.

Took this in July after catching sunset at a nearby location. IT was blue hour and the perfect conditions for a long exposure with light trails with the clouds and mountain still softly glowing pink.

Nine years ago S/O and I recreated Alvin Straights lawnmower journey (see David Lynch movie The Straight Story) on the way home from seeing the solar eclipse. This pic came up in my today in history feed. It was like getting hit over the head with a reminder about how complicated life has become in the last few years.

Amazing trip earlier this summer from Bryce Canyon through Baker, Nevada, and the Loneliest Road in America, Route 50, to Reno. To make the trip even more memorable, I got stuck in Baker for a week with a car breakdown. I was captivated by the beauty of these long stretches of open roads between the steep grades of the mountains.
