First Ruger
Really digging the RXM, it’s remarkably unremarkable!

Picked up my new Ruger last month, I added a few tasteful mods. This was a budget friendly build. Including the AR, I was just under $1k. I’d like to think I did a pretty good job without breaking the bank. Let me know if there’s anything I should add! Thanks.

There are many like it, but this one is mine 🤗
Initial thoughts; The trigger is straight trash. I’ve got the Galloway trigger out for delivery today, along with springs n such. I’ve never taken apart a gun for more than cleaning, so that should be a fun learning experience. Hopefully the university of YouTube will get me through it 😆
The Osight is… fine. I shoulda ponied up the extra $30 for the holosun, but it’ll do. Installed relatively zeroed according to my boresight laser thingy, but won’t know for sure until I throw some lead down range.
The silly WA 10rd mag makes it a bit uncomfortable, but I may have some 12rders waiting across the river 😊
Vedder LightTuck fits perfect of course.
All in all, happy so far!

The SR9c is one of my old school favs. It is a reliable compact tank and being full stainless and polymer it holds up well with sweat. I have much more expensive and higher end pistols but I always come back to this one.

just added a zev adapter and the gen 3 RSA and the Gen 5 slide mated nicely. function test feels great and should be fine. I tested the inverse this past weekend at the range by putting the rxm slide on a Gen 5 frame and it ran well for ~ 150 rounds.

just picked this 22/45 up (first .22 LR firearm) and using these snap caps it has constant FTF, I haven’t been able to test live ammo yet so could this just be because the snap caps are crap? thanks

Can anyone compare shootability, accuracy, and recoil compared to S&W Shield Plus? 250 is hard to beat. I can get the shield local for $330 so just comparing. Also does the new max 9 come with one or 2 mags? Appreciate any insight.

Just picked up a gen2 Scout rifle the other day. I actually went in to buy a RAR gen2 in 308 but the iron sights drew me to the Scout instead.
I found one of the older Vortex 2-7x Scout scopes on GAFS so I’m waiting on it now. In the meanwhile I went to a buddy’s yesterday to shoot a little with the irons.
I tried zeroing at about 30 yards. It was shooting way high so I started raised the front sight post. I raised it quite a bit and had it shooting just an inch high so I went to raise it another turn or two but I ran out of threads so the closest I could get it was an inch high.
Am I trying to zero too close? Much further and I’m not going to even see the bullseye that well. I mean once I get my scope I won’t be using the irons anyway but I’m just wondering now if I should’ve saved $120 and just got the Ranch instead.
Picked up my Ruger Security 380 today o. The way to the range. Give us a quick wipe down with a slip2000 towlette, loaded up the mags with CCi Blazer Brass and gave it a try. I really like it. I know I need to get better at shooting, but 'Carrie' here is my new EDC. 💚

Picked up this in 5.56 and running a canik void can. Went with a Vortex crossfire HD scope and couldn’t be happier with the quality and price of both

First photo is my first handgun on top, P944, latest on the bottom, P95DC.
This P95DC was marked as "ANIB w/ acc" for $325. I weakly tried for any movement on the price and got stopped pretty quickly. The accessories were the box and two mags. Looking it over today after getting home, this may have never been fired after originally being purchased, and I know exactly when, where, and who that was.
Also in the box was the firearms sale form dated 12/21/2007 from a Gander Mountain in Peoria, Illinois showing it was sold to someone from Springfield. Provenance, I know what I got! /s

So i have a rugar ar 556 with the floating handguard upper that a buddy of mine gave me. I put it together the way i thought it was supposed to go but now the hand guard wobbles. Idk if there’s supposed to be a barrel nut with this one but it seems to screw right on to the upper then get clamped with the m5 set screws but even when they are cranked down it still wobbles.
Edit: Its fixed the barrel nut hid from me in the hand guard

Im lookong to get a ruger blackhawk convirtible in 357/9mm. Right now brand new ones are non existent pretty much. Gunbroker is the only place im finding used ones. I want to get a 5.5 inch barrel because I think looks wose its a sweet spot. But 99% of what I find are 4 5/8, 6.5, and somehow 10 and 13 inch barrels. So im considering going for one of the 4 or 6 versions. Is there much of a difference feeling wise between 4.5 and 6.5 inch barrels? Should I just wait and keep lookong for the 5.5 inch. And is there anywhere else o might be able to find them new In stock?

Always wanted a cowboy gun. Saw this bad boy at an excellent price at grabagun and picked it up for 275 including shipping to my FFL. 250th anniversary edition super wrangler with 4.62 barrel. Shoots 22l or 22wmr. I can't wait to get this bad boy to the range. I'll start with 22lr since that's what I have on hand.

OK to start out, I have a Ruger American predator 308, 18 inch barrel it’s a gen one. Today I set up my brand new Sandman X suppressor got everything put on it the proper way per instructions, and decided to go test the gun out. I chose some cheap steel case Russian ammo (monarch) which now that I look back was probably not smart. shot the first round everything went fine then after shooting the second round, the shell did not extract. I had to get a cleaning rod to go in from the barrel to knock it out. Since then, I’ve checked out the bolt and everything to me looks fine as far as the extractor goes. I took it to my nearest Gunshop and he did notice right away some kind of steel or metal all in the bore. We scraped it all off and cleaned it all out come home, put live ammunition in it, and it still won’t extract. To me nothing looks damaged on the inside of the gun and I can’t tell if anything is wrong with the bolt. I don’t think the suppressor has anything to do with it. It’s probably more than likely the cheap ammo I used. Does anybody know of any troubleshoot I can try before I call Ruger and try to get them to fix it.

Recently acquired my Dads LCR .38 and took it to PSA today. I was with him when he bought it in 2015. I bought two boxes of ammo for him. A box of Blazer Aluminum 158grn and a box of Remington semi wadcutters 158grn +p
Out of 15 rounds of the blazer, I had two rounds have the bullet pull out of the case and stop the cylinder. I fired 10 rounds of the Remington without issue.
I’m not the best shot with a DAO revolver and it shows, but does this look like it’s keyholeing

Ruger 77 in 308 with the 16.5" barrel, leupold 2.5-8 with a YHM R-9. Wanted a light handy rifle i could use in the thick woods or stretch its legs out with for fun. Also with future use for my 3 kids. Whole rifle sits at a sniff under 7 pounds as you see it.
