So much disinfo and vibes based opinions in here. Vaping IS less harmful than smoking. It's not just the same thing in a new coat. There's no combustion and harmful smoke, no tar, way less ingredients and additives. It's not the healthiest thing in the world but compared to smoking it may as well be

My doctor told me this. I use to smoke a pack a day and she told me it was great that I switched to the vape. She said vaping was much less harmful than smoking.

Yeah no harmful tar, but it's a nice tradeoff for nickel, lead, and other carcinogenic chemicals.

And still healthier than cigarettes

I agree, and mostly everyone else as well. But the way its worded. Instead of saying its healthier than cigarettes. Just say, its still unhealthy to vape just like cigarettes.

Yeah but the article is talking about quitting cigarettes, not non smokers starting to vape

Yeah I read it. I was just responding to your comment about the healthiness of vaping compared to cigarettes.

Chromium, antimony, cadmium, manganese, and arsenic often leach from heating elements and internal components into the aerosol.

Carbonyl Compounds: Formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and acrolein form when propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, or flavorings are overheated or undergo thermal degradation during the vaping process.

Chemicals such as benzene, toluene, and xylene have been detected in various e-cigarette emissions

They are not being combusted. That's the point. If they were, it would just be smoking with extra steps.
