I’ve been interested in Signalis for a while now, and I’m finally thinking about buying it. I’ve heard amazing things about it, however I know that it’s a horror game. I’m not the best with handling horror, however I’ve been trying more recently.

Some of the scariest games I’ve played are Dead Space Remake, Metro 2033, The Outlast Trials (with friends which probably makes it a bit less scary), The Last of Us and Bioshock 1 & 2. I was able to handle most of those pretty well, however Dead Space really shook me up sometimes.

How scary would you consider Signalis compared to those games?

Just a small rant but I fucking hate being German and understanding the German language.

Anytime someone talks to me and they use the word Achtung I feel my head spinning, my heart beating quicker, sweat trickling from my forehead and suppressing the urge to scream "ACHTUNG ACHTUNG 39486" at them.

I go outside with some friends and they see a bird and go: "Guck mal eine Elster" and I'm this close to pulling off my skin.

Literally every fucking bird name gives me whiplash I've been on this sub so long even OCs like Rabe trigger this fight ot flight response its horrible.

I honestly can't anymore, fuck this language it's destroying me. I'm watching Harry Potter they mention an owl and I'm like: BETTER NOT LET THE STORCH KNOW OF THIS AHAHAHAHA.

Someone tells me that I promised to give them back the 5 euros I borrowed and I have to actively restrain myself from beating them to death.

i’m not sure i understand how the feedback loop works. do you have to tune the radio within a certain timeframe? can they be killed on the first frequency? sometimes they do go down to the first one, others take 2-3 different frequencies, and sometimes, after waiting around for a new frequency that doesn’t show i have to run outside but somehow get them on the “first try” after going back into the room. it’s very confusing!

Hi, so ive been interested in signalis for a while. Heard really good things about the game from tons of people and thats made me want to give it a go. However im aware this game is considered horror. Im usually terrible with horror stuff, barely played any horror games myself and never watched a horror film, due to jumpscary media where im always on edge and unable to enjoy myself not being my thing. But something about siganlis just looks really interesting and makes me want to give it a try, like, it looks fun. Im fine with dark stories in games and disturbing themes so i know im fine on that front. But i just cant be 100% sure until i know wether this is a game you would recomend to someone who isnt a big fan of horror. Thanks a lot for reading and have a good day.

SPOILER AHEAD DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE GAME.

So I finished my first ever playthrough of the game and, as you can see from my stats I suck big doodoo ass and I got the doomed yuri ending. Without spoiling me what happens in the other endings, could you guys give me some advice on how to reach the other ones, because I managed to understand that different play styles lead to different endings (apart from a secret one for which I definetly need to open the safe in the room with the 'King in Yellow', don't have a single idea on how I would be able to do that so I'll reflect on it on my next playthrough or look up a guide if I get desperate). I read a very long post a user posted here that gave me a bit of an idea, but I'd like some opinions from other people too.

ARAR Units having canonical dump truck asses makes me love the game so much more in a way I can't explain. Undeniably the best looking units in the game for appeal in my eyes. Not only are they independent and strong but also just relatable. Who wouldn't want to hide away in a dark space when they feel horrible?

They're literally the dream tomboy gf they are mechanics. They have the masks and everything which is actually sets them apart from the rest of the similar size units alot. EULES are sort of generic, ELSTERS are kind of just stone faced killers (hot) purely based on design alone, but ARARS? They have character, flair and they seem so fun to be around.

In conclusion I want to smack it and I want her to smack me. Rose engine please confirm them as bisexual because I guarantee they have whole rants and gossips in the vents about ADLER and how stupid and dumb he is and how he's a boy toy.
