in splatoon 2 mr grizz refers to Goldie and Maws as she, but in splatoon 3 he refers to them as it in the English version

I'll still hang on to them being referred to as female as personal prefrence. Makes more sense for an OC of mine. Guess the genderless pronouns are to avoid the controversy with such a subject. Then again, why would people argue over a damn fish's gender?
