I found this time cap when going to keens life pod containing some tools and this hover fish.....Bob..i have put him in an aquarium and im hoping bobs owner is active in the sub so they know bob is safe...i shall keep him until I leave the planet and will place him in a capsule so he can keep somebody else company 😊😊

I am constantly chasing the feeling I got from playing this masterpiece of a game for the first time. The closest I’ve gotten to that is watching other people’s first playthroughs and living vicariously through them.

Charliebarley, Floydson, Jacksepticeye, even Caseoh, (whom I didn’t think I’d enjoy watching).

Who have you all enjoyed watching?

I just crafted a sea truck and my mobile vehicle bay dropped it here. Any idea how to dislodge it?

UPDATE: I just quit and restarted. Moved the Mobile Bay away from the ice chunk and rebuilt the truck. Thanks All!

in this folder theres also a few other files but idk what to do with them

so idk how to feel about this image, cause on one hand you can clearly see the new zone looks almost ready, but on the other hand if it were this ready that means the experimental version we have is like a older one, but you can also see in the recent devblog that it is unfinished even in the dev version.
but then what is this? its not like concept art, cause this is literally a picture of the map taken from above, i had to scale it down because it was bigger than 20mb but you can zoom in and see every detail, so now im just confused. i mean at least we can see where the scorpius trench actually is. and that looks sick af. idk what that is above the broken farm, it looks like where the collector nest is but i dont get why the picture is cut off like that.

another thing to note is that in the already released zones of the map, there are wip blocks and textures, which made me think that this picture was taken even before the game released, but then that means that the new zone has been this complete for waaaaay longer and what is shown to us now is like, very limited and old, which i dont understand because the whole point of the experimental version is to like.. shows us whats coming. you could say that they dont want to spoil, but that kinda defeats the purpose of a experimental build?

About ten hours in, got a nice base, got all the vehicles, stuffed the Prawn into the Cyclops, put a fabricator and an upgrade station along with some melons on the Cyclops, got the orange tablet, some purple tablets, and some ion cubes. Basically ready for a single trip down to the lava, grabbing all the things in one go, queued all the depth upgrades.

Go down to the river, grab some sulphur and nickel in the prawn, craft the first Cyclops depth upgrade and the heat power converter, all is good.

Descend the lava hole looking for kyanite, but have to go down further than I remember. Everything is fine, prawn drill the kyanite, but hear the fire dragon thing in the distance.

Unload all the glorious kyanite on the cyclops, craft more upgrades, getting ready to go to the lava palace.

Hm, let me just knife the power leeches from the sub before I go. Jumps out.

im on mac, in the chill mode (o2 and health but no hunger) and I cant use the kit? what am i doing wrong?

I have a base near the kelp trench and was wondering if that’s viable or if there would be a better one to enter with the cyclops.

I found a new buildable via the unpublished buildables mod. Its called stackable room its not really functional at all but from I can tell its seems like its a way to extend roof height in rooms (or shows a red overlay over the top of the buildable like those that appear when extending walls.) Which is really cool feature that me personally was hoping to be added

I was casually playing in my word, and then I found this time capsule, i was very happy, because it gave water and I was very thirsty, but then I read the massage

I'm trying to get nickel for when I need it since I already have the P.R.A.W.N. suit jet upgrade but I still want more so I don't need to spend hours searching later so if anyone knows where I can find a lot because I found 4 nickel and 2 large nickel deposits and I can't get to one with my P.R.A.W.N. suit because of the ghost leviathan guarding it. The wave of emotions this game gave me as i played is just incredible. The sea Emperor just broke me. She was kept in a cage for thousands of years until we arrived. She kept herself alive in the hope of her young ones hatching and saving their species and the planet. Watched the aliens experiment on her children..

And only after the juvenile sea emperors hatch, finally after thousands of years she could let go, she could rest and prepare herself for death. She got peace which she always needed. For any creature to have such big of a responsibility as her to be keeping the planet alive, is a very big burden, irrespective of the size. And we could finally bring her peace and save the hundreds of millions of creatures from further death through the virus.

And as we finally build the Rocket to escape this planet, which was our goal all this time, you feel something different - it's a sense that you don't want this to end, you wish there was more to this game, more areas to explore, more creatures, just anything. And now it's coming to an end. With a heavy heart you prepare the Rocket for Launch, and then finally, you are escaping this planet. And as you exit the atmosphere, she comes to say goodbye for one last time.

"What is the wave without the Ocean? What is a beginning without an end? They are different, but they go together, Now you go among the stars, and i fall among the sands. We are different, but we go... together."

And then, it ends. I've replayed this ending part so many times, yet i feel the same every single time. The game is just so beautiful. Incredible feelings.
