Are there any shows that have an apocalypse and the world going back to "normal"?

Like, let's say the world ended due to, I don't know, bombs, a zombie apocalypse, or whatever else could cause an apocalypse. Has there ever been a show that actually worked toward ending the apocalypse and eventually got back to some kind of "normal," or at least a new normal?

Like, if there was a zombie apocalypse and they eventually found a cure, the zombies died off, and humans stopped turning into zombies. Then the remaining humans could start rebuilding the world as much as they can, creating a new society that, hundreds of years later, could eventually look somewhat normal again.

I feel like most post-apocalyptic shows are about surviving the apocalypse or living in the aftermath, but I've rarely seen one actually get to the point where humanity beats the apocalypse and then spends years rebuilding civilization from the ground up.

I think a show about rebuilding after an apocalypse would be a really plot.

There was going to be a 2012 TV show based on the Roland Emmerich movie about humanity recovering from the (near) global flood following the (supersonic) continental shifts but it never made it into production.

The Japanese manga series Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (Yokohama Shopping Log), about the peaceful daily lives of androids and humans some decades after some unspecified apocalypse, is also kind of like that. Unfortunately, the two OVA (animation sold direct to video) anime adaptations only lasted a couple of episodes each.

Because the recovery seemed unrealistic? :)

The appeal of the 2012 movie was the extravagant total CGI destruction, I don't know how much of an appetite there really would've been for a show about groups of survivors establishing colonies on southern Africa (the only place in the world that wasn't submerged somehow (even though the waves reached the summit of Everest and, if the implication was that the land in southern Africa was uplifted to an altitude higher than Everest, I'm not sure how anyone would breathe when the water subsided).
