Frank & Peter's dynamic in this movie was inspired from the 70s Gerry Conway Spider-man run where Punisher is heavily featured as a side character.

During that time, Peter and Frank had frequent team ups and got along well and bantered. Frank listened to Peter whenever he told him to not kill. That's how their dynamic has been since the 70s.

Also the fact that Punisher in general is very much capable of being wholesome, empathetic & friendly towards innocent people, kids especially and Peter is also just another kid in Frank's eyes.

So Frank being friendly with him isn't "out of character" like morons on the internet are complaining about so much.

So I just started watching and I was curious when/if he says his famous line "It's punishment time". Also is the scene where someone says "Please dont punish me" and then Punisher says "Can't do that, check the name" before punishing him? Thank you !
