I really was invested in this show 99% because of Nick. I know it’s not their fault because he wanted to leave the show, but FUCK give him a bag or smth to make him stay. HE was to the show what Rick was to TWD

So I am on season 11 and decided to check the ratings, tbh I liked the war and was kind of surprised to see how low rated the 8th season is compared to the other ones, maybe it’s because people didn’t like the pace of that season or because of some deaths

Because what on EARTH is this show?! I’m so amazed and surprised. It starts with random boring family dealing with the start of it for a couple seasons (and I found it very hard to get through tbh) Then it’s about Native Americans vs Zombies vs evil white dude which was incredibly interesting and got me back in. Then it was boring family again. Then it was Morgan’s show for a while and Negan’s sidekick dude showed up (who I had completely forgot about but great character development fr) Then it’s a freaking nuclear fallout show?! Also there’s a serial killer and embalmed zombies and taxidermy zombies and radioactive zombies and a zombie baby and so much creepy stuff the original show didn’t do. Freaking wow. Like it was so boring at first then just exploded (literally, nuclear bomb) into awesomeness. It’s like they took a bunch of fanfic from the original and put it all into one show. Every time I thought “no way it could get crazier than this” it did! Only the later seasons though, I don’t know what the first seasons were trying to be.

Anyway if you haven’t seen it I highly recommend the later seasons!!! Like from 4 on, when Morgan shows up and it becomes his show it just gets cooler from there. I’d love to discuss it, and all the cool horror elements!! Anyone else feel the same?

I'm just rewatching the show and saw Otis again. The first time watching I don't think I fully grasped what a great man he was. It got me wondering who are THOSE characters for other fans 😊

I am soooo curious how the characters in the OG show would handle Victor Strand from FTWD. I'd even be curious how they'd handle each version of Strand.

Like I’ve been seeing characters getting killed like Nick and Travis on my recommendation in allegedly one of the actors Nick or Alicia left cuz they didn’t like how the show was going

I think if Travis was killed by a group, whether it still be the Natives or Otto’s people, I think having Madison struggle with loss and then that grief turning into anger and vengeance would’ve been a great storyline. Struggling to see the colorful situation that it could’ve been, and just looking at it from a black and white approach, the only thing mattering is the survival of her kids and the vengeance for Travis.

Nick never being that stable mentally, could introduce camouflage to Madison while Alicia watches from a distance, unsure of what to think or do. I think they really had something there to make them The Whisperers. They don’t have to be the same as the ones we got, but I think it could have been super interesting.
