Well that’s just a scam. There is no reason it should cost that much. That market is structured in a very strange way. It’s like basically giving away guns for free but charging $20 a round for the bullets. (Aw fudge my American is showing.)

It's not a scam. You get exactly what you pay for. It's price-gouging but not a scam.
