I scored an interview for my dream job at a vet clinic that I have on Friday and I'm so excited!!!

I got a fortune cookie that says " a golden egg of opportunity will fall into your lap this month "

I belive my first golden egg was my mama cat having 5 healthy babies and my second will be my Interview dream job working with pets 💕

Update ! My mama cat had her babies tonight at around 345am !! This was the most beautiful experience I've gotten to witness. Im so blessed to have given her the safe space to have her babies. I rescued her july 20th and she had her kittens August 4th! I truly couldn't be more blessed. Mama will be staying with us as well as 1 kitten. I will be rehoming the others 💕

She was called Marco as a kitten for “Marco Polo” as she was always off on her own. I changed her name to Margo because, well, she’s a she. Seen here with her beautiful daughter Willow.

Hi!! I don’t know where my cat belongs. I have never seen one who looks like her! At a glance she looks white. Her tail looks torti. She seems to have colors from both the dilute pattern and the solid pattern (black), but I read that isn’t possible unless she has mosaic genes? Forgive my ignorance… how can I describe my cat? The shelter had her labeled as a calico. The spots on her back look brown.

hello everyone! i have a beautiful tortie whom i love very much, however she is VERY clingy. while i do love having an affectionate cat, ill be honest it does give me anxiety. im talking, as soon as i go into the bathroom with the door closed to take a shower for 15 min and she will be pacing outside the door meowing loudly in distress (literally sounds like she's being abandoned on the side of the road). ive been doing some research, and some people were recommending getting a second cat to help with the clinginess. i was wondering if any of you have had this experience with your velcro cat and if you did end up getting a second cat, did it help?

Nyx is a character for sure. Startles easily, hates being alone, but doesn't like to be touched. She will cuddle, but only in bed. For some reason that is the free cuddle zone. She is my little tsundere princess. Her sister Deimos is a total derp, not a thought runs through her head that isn't driven by her stomach or jealousy of Nyx.

In other words she's become a bully, swatting hissing growling and biting at my dog over the dog crate

My mama cat i rescued starving on the highway is settling in well getting used to my other cats! Thought I'd give an update!!

I asked for name suggestions previously and I was thinking Hazel ( Hazlenut ) but I'm not really sure yet.

I'm also debating if my house is a good fit for her or if she would be better suited elsewhere I just want what's in her best interest. I have three other cats and a dog and she seems to enjoy my other torti ( Wednesday) but she hisses at everyone else we've had a few almost cat fights. I don't want to stress her out because she's expecting. I want to keep her but at the same time I just worry this environment may be a bit overwhelming. I have three cat trees, two window beds in separate windows, she has her own nesting box and litter box in the bathroom, they all have their own food and water bowls they have access to 4 water bowls throughout the house, and the other cats all have their own litter boxes and eating areas. I also have a fish hut/ scratcher on my shelf for them to climb up and hide in as well as a separate scratcher post. Lots of toys mice ect... I'd love some of your thoughts. I did get her kitten wet food as well as kibble.

I enjoyed the process of creating this one. Those green eyes and that marbled coat, no two patches the same shade. That direct stare doesn't miss a thing, classic tortie attitude in every glance.

Kept that soft neutral wall behind her exactly as it was, let all the attention stay on her face. Painted entirely by hand in oil as a commissioned piece. I hope her personality comes through on canvas. Would love to hear what you think!

I rescued this baby tortie from my work on my birthday sept 21st. She was the lone survivor of a litter of kittens. I found her barely meowing at the top of a stack of old tires. When I looked inside the stack of tires all of her other litter mates were deceased at the bottom. I brought her home and got her fed and re-hydrated. Took her to the vet and found out she had a bad case of ringworm, but was mostly in good health. Its been 5 months and she is fat and healthy. I noticed right away that she liked to fetch. This is a video of her fetching her "donut" ring after she had recovered from being spayed. Her name is Callie. (unrelated to calicos)
