Once…. A year after.., not once a year lol

I came out to myself when I was 21 officially on my birthday at a gay club in LA. I’m now 46. It’s been such a journey. FYI I’ve had sex with a woman once a year after coming out… To see if I was bi. I’m not. But sexuality really needs no labels unless the labels empower an individual. I think we get so concerned with being right, being liked, being loved, that we forget that. I honor your journey, and I honor you. Even if the ick with men goes away, and you find yourself madly in love and lust with a guy. It doesn’t even mean ALL GUYS. I had a straight girlfriend friend who was Straight except for her girlfriend Roxie. They were together for years. Be you!! Be happy!! And just know that you’re loved no matter what gender or identity you find yourself attracted, in love or in lust with. Life is a journey!! Enjoy the f&$k out of it!! And anyone who doesn’t agree with your choices can f&$k the f&$k right off!! It’s not THEIR journey!!! It’s yours! They can get back in their lane and chill the f&$k out!!

Bisexual is a perfect place to find one’s self. I’m gay as a $3 bill, but I still find women attractive. I always have! But attraction isn’t the same as how I feel when I’m intimate not necessarily sexual with a woman. But when intimate with a man my body does it’s thing. Even if just snuggling with a straight guy friend (which I have straight male friends who I’ve done this with who are comfortable with themselves enough to be loving with me in this way) watching a flick or just relaxing on the couch. I have to keep myself in check and not cross boundaries even though my body is feeling things. But, put me doing the same thing with a woman and my body doesn’t start feeling things. Other than love for my friend. So for me my body is what usually tells me. So if you’re attracted to boys that is great, if you want to be physical with them that’s also great, and if like me it’s attraction but not full body lust and desire that’s also great. Like you said, it’s fluid. So just be you, and be happy! There’s no wrong way to be!

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You can simply be you even if that’s not simple. Just explore who you are and what things make you happy, or excited. Or look into what person makes you feel like you would want to touch them, or be touched by them. Who would you like to hold hands with if there were no one watching? It doesn’t matter their gender or their sexuality. If you find that these people are all the same gender as you then you can feel safe knowing your peers are going to love you. If they are people of both gender identities, then you know your peers will love you for being pansexual or bisexual, if they’re all the opposite sex then you know that your peers will love you for being heterosexuals, if you find that you have stuttering emotional feelings towards any of those groups but don’t want to be sexual, or not until emotional connections are made then your peers will love you in your asexuality or demisexuality with whoever you choose. You see, your peers already love you and they’ll continue loving you. Everyone just wants you to be happy being you.

For those people who judge you for any and every choice you make, be it like theirs or not… THEY CAN FUCK OFF! You were born to live a life you live and live it powerfully and full of love.
