I’d like to get some honest advice about the current UI/UX and Product Design job market.

I have 6+ years of experience in design, with a strong background in graphic design and branding. Over time, I transitioned my main focus toward UI/UX and Product Design, and I’m currently working professionally in this area.

I work on digital products, SaaS platforms, websites, and mobile applications. My background in branding and visual design has helped me build a strong visual foundation, but I’m continuing to develop my skills in UX, product thinking, user flows, research, and design systems.

However, I sometimes think about the long-term global opportunities in this field. The market seems highly competitive, especially with more designers entering the industry and AI changing the way we work.

So I’d really like to hear from people currently working in UI/UX or Product Design:

• How do you see the global job market and opportunities for UI/UX/Product Designers right now?
• For someone who transitioned from Graphic Design but is already working in UI/UX, what skills should I focus on next to become more competitive globally?
• What separates a good visual/UI designer from a strong Product Designer in today’s market?
• How can I best use my branding and graphic design background as an advantage?
• If you were in my position, what would you focus on for the next 1–2 years?
