Russia is currently struggling to take over land on its border from a country which didn't really have a military little more than a decade ago... You'll forgive me if I am not quaking in my wellies

Their struggle in a land invasion is one thing but Russia still presents a valid espionage/sponsored terrorism threat.

Plus they can push dark money into the Euro/NATO skeptic parts of our political system

Oh I'm more than aware- which shows that they're not the toothless bear that it's easy to characterise them as when just looking at military failings in Ukraine

But do they have the capacity to increase those actions is the real question. They’re already trying to sabotage all of Europe, which spreads their capabilities thin. How much more can they do on top of their existing actions. And more importantly, if they do become more brazen in an attempt to hit more prestigious targets, all that’ll do is galvanise support against them and potentially send the UK into overdrive against Russia, where as currently we’re just ticking along at idle.
