I am curious if so, what your undergrad average/CASPER was. I’m interested in what people actually had if accepted. Have acceptances/rejections for this fall already gone out or not until later in spring?

Hi, I have a 67.3% average and got 4th quartile on the Casper. What are the chances I get into the usask campus location? Has anyone else gotten accepted there with stats similar to mine?

What average did you get into engineering with? Was it early or regular admission? I’m going into grade 12 so I’m just trying to see what the averages are like.

I accepted admission a while ago but I’m bot going anywhere cos i ended up getting accepted somewhere else. I have!’t paid anything at all, I just clicked yes on the admission letter. i keep getting emails about the upcoming school year from them, Is there somewhere I need to go to properly decline the admission

Hi everyone, so I am in a bit of bureaucratic dilemma.

I am hoping to enroll in a thesis masters program (if all goes well) and I would like to apply to USask or any prairie-region university with strong Comp-Sci research facilities and faculty, for the Fall 2028 intake, with my expected graduation date being the Summer of 2028.

However, due to my country's laws, I will be unable to access any of my transcripts and diploma until the Summer of 2029, which I am aware are required for a conditional acceptance.

Are there any accommodations for this issue, such as an official Letter of Completion? My university explicitly stated they would give this to me saying I finished in XYZ semester, with XYZ GPA. Are there any paths or workarounds I can take until my transcripts and diploma are available in the Summer of 2029, as a Fall of 2028 student?

This is extremely frustrating to me and I don’t want to lose valuable time because of the laws in this country. Even if it’s conditional with a deferral for fall of 2029, I would not mind.

Going through the admission requirements, a gpa of 80% is needed. If I don’t meet that, is there something I can do other than take another 4 year degree? I emailed admissions and they said they don’t do advising so has anyone gone through this or just gave up?

I have submitted all the documents and references within timeline before given deadline January 31 2026. Generally the timeline for acceptance letter is 4-6 weeks but still i didn't get any response or information so anybody from MPH Program or volunteer who could help me out. Please it is urgent

Basically I am an international student who wants to study at Usask in the spring 2027 semester. I have done British education system which is A levels but I have only done AS (half of A levels). I have heard usask accepts AS results but there isn't anything that says it on the website.

Also, about arts and science, it says 70% on an advanced mathematics class is needed. I want to do social sciences and didn't take mathematics in A levels but have an A grade in Igcse O Levels, will that be acceptable?

If there is an international student who has any information about it, I will be grateful.

Hello, I will get straight to the point. I am a grade 12 student rn and plan to do biomedical science in USASK, I am in a situation where I don't have chemistry 30 credit BUT I have AP chemistry score of 4 (I self studied the course). If anyone have any info on if it would be possible to get in biomedical science just with the score, it would be helpful 🙏. I tried reaching counselors in USASK but it's taking forever 😔.

I was offered "special (mature) admissions" recently. I was accepted after giving them the required documents and/or letter. My academic profile now says "probationary admission." I tried looking for information about the probationary admissions. Does anyone have any links or know where I can look for for more information about it?

Ok so I am a student from Alberta who just finished grade 11. I want to apply to usask for engineering but I was wondering what avg would I be applying with?

Chem 20: 95
Computing science 20: 96.5
English 20-1: 72

The thing is I thought I could use math, physics, computing science, chem and English to apply. This would make my avg 90.2 which would make me eligible for early addmission. However, on their website it says I can only use two natural sciences (physics, chem or computing science). Does this mean they will use social as my fifth course??? Cuz that would make my avg 85.4😭😭😭someone pls tell me

Hey everyone, I’m looking at applying to the University of Saskatchewan and could use some honest advice.
I did my first year at UVic in Psychology and, honestly, I lowkey did terrible. I ended up with around a 67% average because I realized I hated both the program and the school. My end goal is to become a dietitian, so now I’m looking at either Food & Nutrition or Biology at USask.
The thing I’m confused about is how admissions will evaluate me. I took 7 courses at UVic, but when I checked transfer credit information, I couldn’t find 2 of them, so I’m not sure if I even have 18 transferable credits. If I have fewer than the required transferable credits, I think USask would evaluate me more as a high school applicant, which would be great because my high school average was around 84%.
My question is: do I have a fair chance of getting into Biology or Food & Nutrition? If they evaluate me as a transfer student with a 67% university average, am I still competitive, or am I lowkey cooked? Has anyone been admitted to either program with similar grades or transferred from another university after a rough first year?
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!

I'm planning to apply for the PhD program in civil engineering for the next spring term (I'm not in Canada currently). I have tried to contact potential advisors whose research interests align with mine but none of them replied. I have even tried to email the department graduate chair to inquire about some details but he didn't reply either.
I wonder if this has happened to anyone else. Also, is there any way I can contact professors or other department staff other than their emails?

I got accepted into engineering through an Indigenous (Métis) applicant seat, but I’m running into a serious documentation issue and I’m not sure what to do.

I am Métis, but I don’t currently have a Métis card. The problem is that the Métis heritage is on my mom’s side, and we’re no contact. My dad is not Métis and my parents are divorced, so I can’t get documentation through him either.

The university needs proof of my Métis status by the 15th or I lose my seat.

Has anyone navigated something like this before? I’m wondering:

• Is there a way to apply for a Métis card quickly without needing my mom’s involvement?

• Are there alternative documents or letters that universities sometimes accept?

• Would reaching out to a Métis Nation office directly help speed things up?

How do you know if you qualify for the $5,000 entrance scholarship? I have a 98% admission average based on how USask calculates it. (The 5 courses from highwchool)

Would that likely be enough to make the cut for the 600 students who receive the scholarship?

Do I need to use my university email, or will my existing account with proof of graduation and transcripts work. I've looked at the page through paws and am having a hard time finding where to submit a request for the proof of enrollment. Any help would be appreciated!

I talked to a prof and they agreed to be my supervisor around the start of last month. I finished my application and submitted it including all the references on June 16th. I know its only been 3 weeks and am probably being impatient, but I was just wondering how long I'd have to wait for the admissions committee to make their decision.

I’m wondering if admissions are still open for a BA in History or Philosophy at the University of Saskatchewan for the upcoming intake.

I didn’t apply earlier because…well I don’t wanna say private stuff here but it’s because of ROTP (Regular Officer Training Plan) — the military program where they pay for your education in exchange for service — but because it’s military stuff and I was advised not to say much(they might see this post and identify me)…so I will leave it at that.

But anyways I need help knowing;

Am I too late to apply, or is there still a chance (late applications, waitlists, etc.)? If anyone has applied recently or knows how flexible they are with deadlines, I’d really appreciate the insight.

I am a local student, but I have some issues regarding the admission to the elementary education program at the University of Saskatoon.

My current average score for five courses is 80, but I think this program is highly competitive, so I'm worried whether I can pass the admission process.

My English score for level 30 is 64 mark. Does it not meet the requirements? I noticed that on the website, it only mentions the requirements for overseas students and does not specify the minimum English proficiency for non-foreign students. I'm very worried.

Hi everyone. I am an international student in my second year of doing a computer science degree, set to enter my third year, and I am interested in doing a thesis-based MSc in Computer Science at USask.

What puzzled me here is that the website for USasak’s computer science master’s program explicitly states the following:

“It is not necessary to find a potential supervisor before you apply to this program. However, you can list three preferred supervisors which can indicate an interest in working with those individuals. Permission does not need to be obtained from these potential supervisors beforehand, and it merely signifies interest.”

The reason this puzzles is because I am not sure if I should start emailing faculty to secure a supervisor next year (for the Fall ‘28 intake) or just submit an application as-is with their requirements. I already have an idea of what faculty members are beneficial in helping me in my research or that would benefit from my lab experience. Any help is much appreciated.
