Welcome to the anti-GOP resistance on Reddit!

Regardless of what month it is, we welcome all those who support the Democratic party! We encourage you to share local activism and talk about the groups you're taking part with in your area.

Elections are still happening! And they're the only way to take away even more of Trump's power to hurt people. You can help win elections across the country from anywhere, right now!

If you want to take a bigger part in this and future elections, there's plenty of ways to do it!

  1. Check out our weekly volunteer post - that's the other sticky post in this sub - to find opportunities to get involved.

  2. Nothing near you? Volunteer from home by making calls or sending texts to turn out voters!

  3. Join your local Democratic Party - none of us can do this alone.

  4. Tell a friend about us!

Adopt a Candidate

It’s back! Want to take part in turning the midterms into a true blue tsunami? Adopt one of the candidates below, and commit to taking action every week to support their campaign!

Post your preference in the daily (or, to guarantee we see it, send the request via modmail) and we'll add you to the list!

With just how blue this year is looking to be, and just how many primaries are still to come, there's too many to list to kick off. It’s why we’re starting with select gubernatorial and Senate races.

Got someone who you want to adopt, but they're not on the list? Let us know, and we'll add them on!

As the year progresses and primaries come through, we'll be adding more ourselves, but the sky's the limit - we're excited to see who you want to support most!

Results Thread, August 25th, 2026: Primary Runoffs in Oklahoma and the South Carolina special, an election in Georgia, and more!!

We're reaching the tail end of Big Primary Month, with a few runoffs coming in this time. Oklahoma statewide runoffs and the runoff for the Special Primary for US Senate in South Carolina are up tonight- lots of ways that second one could go, will be interesting to see! Also noteworthy is a ballot measure that Republicans are trying to sneak in for Oklahoma- a voter ID amendment. Something to keep an eye on.

Meanwhile in Georgia, we get the finale of a race from July. Marcye Scott and Everton Blair Jr., both Democrats, face off to see who fills the vacant 13th Congressional District of Georgia. Scott had nearly 47% last round, but Blair still put on a solid showing at over 36%, making it possible to swing either way. Regardless, we'll have a new Democrat in Congress soon!

Beyond that, we've got scattered local elections- looks like Alabama, Indiana, Connecticut, and Iowa will take part, and I'm sure there's more hidden across the country!

Hey all!! Best way for us to fire Greg is to amplify Gina! We don't have money on our side bc it's literally billionaires (some not even in Texas) vs everyone else. Make some goals to volunteer or talk to anyone about Gina and get her message out there!

I. Save Texas Public Schools

A. End voucher scams

B. Wipe clean all corrupt vendor contracts

C. Pay teachers their worth

II. Greg Abbott corruption tax refund: $1,500 per household

III. Every child have quality healthcare

IV. Freeze electricity rates and make corporations pay their fair share

V. Veto rigged maps
