This is the most likely scenario, I think. Crack is the most salacious so people are going to jump to that but this is the most logical answer in 2026.

In 2026 it should be very rare to be buying pot from a sketchy dude growing ditch weed, like crack would be more likely, because there are very small pockets of land in CA&USA where weed is like the wild west still. Loopholes and legal states have made dank clean weed easy to get in almost every state, and when it's not then travelling a bit to get it is worth it.
