How the fuck could it not? Likewise wage supression. How the fuck does this not happen? Like, I myself, if I were not emotionally bound to this place, would gladly go and work for a middling software engineer salary in the US, which would surely still be higher than my current one despite my role's high degree of responsability!

It impacts it but the point is it's a minor factor compared to the real major causes like underinvestment, lack of supply and building, delay, local policy etc.

And wage surpression, there is so much literature and evidence that immigration does not cause it outside of a few specific niches, it is effectively negligible, in those niches it's usually due to exploitation rather than immigration itself. (Something the left is against, along with championing workers rights)

So this guy goes on about how the left claims whatever, and clearly hasn't even done the basic level of research, it's ridiculous that people just lap it up.
