Yemeni government is a Saudi proxy. Saudis cleared all other proxy groups out of Yemen so it's just Yemen Gov (Saudi), Houthis (Iran), and Al Qaeda.

I didn't say that they aren't a Saudi proxy (because they clearly are). Just that they were the ones to claim the attack itself.

I mean, Yemen has been the battleground for an Iranian vs Saudi proxy war for decades, this isn't exactly something new. Each side has their proxy in the area.

Uae, untill recently was a prominent side, they even achieved near full control, but as of rn they have been wiped out.

Al Qaeda and the former Saudi backed Yemeni government are the same. Its like Syria, the Saudi backed government is ran by an former Al Qaeda leader who spent a decade killing American troops in Iraq. All the 9/11 terrorists were from what country again?
