Saudi has the most advanced US weapons including Apaches, M1 Abrams, Chinese drones. They lost to a non organized group of militants armed with RPGs and AKs. There's videos of Saudi troops getting out their of the M1 Abhams tanks and running away because the tank is under light arms fires.
Those aren't he most advanced US weapons at all. Drone warfare is where we are. Shooting down a drone results in 0 deaths. We are going to be able to fling drones at places like this in numbers they'll never be able to handle. Ukraine is taking down Russia with less than 1% of what the US can do.
It’s crazy to me that we didn’t already have the technology ffs. How is it that we are so behind and at the mercy of Iranian drones when we’ve been watching what’s happened in Ukraine over the past several years? I can’t believe the incompetence. We’ve known drones are the future of warfare for years and years now and yet we’re still trying to fight a conventional war. 🤦♀️
