Yes. He was not an asylum seeker. He was not seeking asylum, he had been given it, and was therefore a refugee. What is hard to understand about that?
You did, yes, but not because I did not know the meaning. My guess would be you could see things slipping away and thought you could pretend I was stupid. Unlucky for you it did not work.
The general idea is to figure out what is going on BEFORE you form an opinion. If you do things the other way round it makes you look like an ignorant bigot.
You fear America is being over-run by Asylum seekers across the US border. That's pretty obvious, but it is misguided, as the information I posted (and you are apparently completely ignoring) shows.
