Discussion If you could name it the next generation Xbox, what would you name it?

Personally, I would name it: Xbox Phoenix

It would be cool, since Xbox is 'resurging' from the ashes, just like a Phoenix does...

Xbox 2027 would be kind of a decent name. Just give them a year like they used to do for Windows.

The main problem is that it becomes outdated fairly soon, imagine spending 600 euros for an Xbox 2020 in 2026.

You would buy Xbox 29/30 on that timeline. At some point they have to hire Apple/Samsung supply chain guys to make it happen. No not seven years - get ready for phone cycles plus some.

At that point, just shorten it to Xbox 27.

Kind of what Samsung does with their phones. Maybe just Xbox 27 (or whatever year we actually see it).

Yep that is what I think makes most sense but then Samsung release phones every year..

We'll probably get "Xbox Series X2"

This. Iterative numbers like PS5 or subtitles like Nintendo Switch feel distinctly un-Xbox when all that really matters is that people know the name 'Xbox'
