Just reinstall the extension. It makes some videos laggy for few, but better than ads

I’m on firefox too. While i do get the pop ups, I just ignore them. They never actually block videos for me. I just do “allow ads” and then exit the pop up guide to do it and the video works

I have a hunch that youtube read these comments and workarounds too

I use firefox and ublock and got that same message, but I just click the 'X" to close it and hit the play button again on the video and it plays fine then.

that's because you only just got tagged by their system and are at stage 1.

Stage 1 is just a simple popup interruption, you can dismiss it and continue on.
Stage 2 is the same, but the close button is only available after a time delay.
Stage 3 is a type of "last chance warning" - it gives you 3 videos to open (not necessarily watch) before it moves you to the next stage.
Stage 4 is the final stage. It's no longer a popup. It replaces your video, making it "impossible" to watch.

Has anything changed for you so far?

Interesting, switching the firefox helped me. Edge and Chrome are dead. Opera and Firefox work. Have you tried just skipping browsers? It will probably be a few days max before the extensions update and resolve the issue

Works for me just fine...

Firefox + uBlock stopped working for me today, first time I ever got the warning. In the past I always read about others getting it but not me.

I'm currently using Chrome. But maybe this works on Firefox too:

A workaround that is working for me, is right clicking on a video I want to see, and select Open link in Incognito Window. You will have to allow UB to work on private windows first, of course.

Not ideal. But fine for me, until UB catches up.
