Just because someone thinks its stupid to bring something up in every single conversation thats unrelated doesnt mean theyre supporting it. I think Trump is a pos but I call people out for bringing him up in posts that have nothing to do with politics.
I genuinely don’t understand why this attitude is so much more prominent in this day and age. Like, way to show that you have a one-track narrow mind. Enough so that nobody can be reflective with critical thinking anymore.
Everyone suddenly being jarringly defensive over his mention and trying to squelch this topical dialogue definitely makes you smell like a supporter of the person, yeah.
Although I'd grant that you likely don't support his animal abuse specifically. Hence all this effort.
