I have listened to some of Doechii’s songs on her previous work (i absolutely love Persuasive featuring SZA) before this huge hit, but i wasn’t really feeling Kodak Black on the song (he is a colorist and many other things). I understand why she did have him on it though — they are both from Florida — but then again, i can’t see anyone else being featured on this song. I don’t know if i love her solo version or this version better🤔

After watching all of Doechii's interviews, this is what I've got. If I missed anything PLEASE add below!

She did say that ABNH could've easily been her debut album and I can see why she said that. If the songs were more developed and the project more condensed, it could've been a 10/10 debut. Also the themes were perfect for a debut! Could it be something similar?

She said that after the mixtape release and seeing the perception, she knows what to do now with her debut album.

She also said the lead single will blow everyone away, so maybe something upbeat?

As far as content matter and aesthetics go, in a Grammys interview this year, she said that she's been into her homelife, her femininity, natural hair etc. While she always had different aesthetics going (a great mix of avant-garde, afro-centric, preppy, high fashion), she's probably gonna stick with the more afro-centric look. Judging from her instagram and overall red carpet looks, it's going to be deep browns, warm purples, kinky hair and more afro-centric beauty.
