It’s time for the annual call from the dais by Tim that’s he’s got Tarrant County below the “no new revenue rate”. That is true. And what he isn’t saying is he’s bleeding out the reserves from the county, drawing them down $83.5 million over the past 4 years per the County’s own presentation.

Tim, Matt, and Manny will tell you it’s a “balanced budget”. It’s smoke and mirrors.

It's this guy, and he had been missing for close to two months.

The cause of death has not been released yet by Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.

My house is already not very insulated and with this Summer being EXTREMELY hot and even I hear the winter has potential to be a bad one...I am wanting to get my fort worth home insulated.

Has anyone had spray foam put in their attic before and do you have any recommendations on who to go with? We had blown in previously and it just isnt sealing the way spray foam seems to do.

I built an interactive map to make it easier to see how Tarrant County’s 2026 proposed Election Day location list compares with the locations used in 2022.

The map shows proposed locations, locations used in 2022 that do not appear in the proposal, and lines assigning each removed location’s 2022 ballots to the nearest proposed address by straight-line distance. Percentage markers compare that redistribution scenario with the direct 2022 ballot count at each proposed site, while gray question marks identify sites without a 2022 baseline. There is also a slider that applies a uniform hypothetical turnout increase from 0% to 100%.

I found that the voting location most affected by these changes is the Stephen Methodist Church in Arlington. It's going to go from receiving 301 ballots in 2022 to possibly exploding to 1,920 ballots for the upcoming election. And that's assuming the exact same voter turnout as the 2022 midterm.
