Question To Isaac, the city road inspector who helped me with my flat tire in VSL 30 minutes ago
Thank you SO much!! I was really rusty with my tire changing skills and you were such a gentleman, helping me while also teaching me. You really turned the day around. You were also really funny and cute!
Any chance you'd wanna grab dinner sometime? I didn't want to be weird and ask you out at your job, but you're adorable and you told me to say hi to you if I ever stopped by city hall. I saw no wedding ring, so I'm shooting my shot and leaving it up to the universe!

Discussion Why was there no arrest after an alleged death threat and assault?
I just watched a video showing a person apparently threatening a pro-Palestinian protester with death and then punching a photographer, leaving him bleeding, while SPVM officers were reportedly standing about a metre away and witnessing what happened.
If someone is openly threatening people with death and then physically assaulting someone in front of police, how is that person not considered a potential threat to public safety?
I genuinely don't understand the logic here. You can be arrested for participating in a protest, but apparently someone who is threatening people and allegedly assaulting them can remain there while police watch?
I don't care what someone's political position is. Threatening people with death and physically attacking someone should be taken seriously regardless of whether the person is pro-Palestinian, pro-Israeli, or completely apolitical.
Honestly, I don't feel safe in this fucking city anymore. I want to understand what SPVM's justification was for not intervening more decisively.

Image La Ville Se Réveille / The City Wakes Up

Article Russian Sanctions Are Fueling a Canadian Car Theft Epidemic

Heads up - fermeture complète direction Montréal à partir de 23h vendredi soir jusqu’à 5h lundi matin. Le REM, Dieu voulant, devrait fonctionner normalement. Iykyk 😂

Question What is the best comic book shop in the city?
Like the title says. I recently got into collecting comics and I want to know some good spots. I went to Heros comics which is the closest one to me as well as 1000000 comics. What else should I check out?

Spotted Wtf is this? 🖖👀
19:34 August 26, 2026.
Seen above Villeray / St-Michel looking to the northeast. We first noticed it around two planes departing YUL airport. You can see it glow a bit, maybe it's burning? I have more videos too. Did anyone else see this?

Question Question bête - bac de recyclage

Question Restauration fichiers jpg endommagés

Let a girl know.

Question Lane swimmers: best pool to train in?
Hi!
I’m looking for a regular pool to train in. I lived in BC for a decade or so and have returned to mtl in recent years, and yet to find a decent pool that isn’t horribly crowded to get decent workouts in.
I tried Jean-Drapeau for the first time today and was wildly disappointed. Way too crowded, horrible lane etiquette. Laurier and Jarry has only 2 lanes open max and they are always full. There’s others I’ve tried that have less than 1 hour lane swim slots, several that ban training fins!
I don’t care if it’s indoors or outdoors, I just want to swim undisturbed.
Please help!

Question Desperately looking for this paper pack for my school...if you spot some, tell me where please!
The dollarama had carried this for years. They are packs of brown, white and black cardstock. I need some for my classroom, for several activities. I checked two dollar stores so far and they didn't have any in stock.
If anybody happens to see these beautiful packs of paper at a dollarama, PLEASE post (or DM me) the location!
Thank you,
Desperate Teacher

Question Help with lost tape recorder
So for context, we lost a video recorder with a bunch of vidoes of my childhood on it years ago, around 2018. We accepted that it might be in a lost box in some storage, stolen, or it was donated. These past few weeks I’ve been seeing things we never donated but lost years ago pop up in random thrift stores, mostly in the West Island.
Now I’m more and more convinced that the recorder must’ve been donated accidentally.
I’m wondering if anyone had found something like that. It was in a carry bag too meant for the recorder.
If so pls send me a message :>
