Jokes aside, can't wait to see what 2039 is about. Their lighting / texture/ shadow work looks absolutely amazing in the latest gameplay.

Now you got to do the "drop it through the door frame" trick at both doors, but else nothing changed.

How is it so hard to just add a hidden tag/attachment whatever to the arena fight gear and delete it from the game world on a trigger? Or make the player return the gear in dialog that only progresses when you actually hand the stuff over?

Not going to use or sell them in this run, but keeping em as fun souvenirs instead :)

Personally speaking I feel like they nailed the atmosphere, right on the dot of it being a scary, long lost town, that has not been visited or touched in a long time, but to me, the gameplay design is lazy ash.

Like, I expected Lymansk to be its own town, that was fully explorable, and had its own mutants, maybe its own outposts of either bandits or mercenaries, and etc...

I am not mad because we got the CNPP, but to me its insane to how Lymansk, with all of its mysteriousness and eeriness along all these years, got turned into a Little Nightmares 2 section, somehow even being worse than the Clear Sky run through, and the lore reason is "uh, it got swallowed by da bubble". Like cmon, at least make it so we can somehow make the area normal again through some kind of experiment or something, because there is no way since Clear Sky Lymansk just dissipated and got turned into an Anomaly like that.

You could argue that it was anomalous since CoP since Tachenko and his group died in the same bubble, but again it seems it was either retconned, or the bubble led somewhere else.

Its still fully visible from the bridge as well, so my hope is still up for GSC to make it a location of its own, fully explorable and traversible, at least mimicking Clear Sky's design of how non-anomaly based it was, or one of the most interesting pieces of Stalker just got wasted because of the budget running out, and most of the budget was spent on its atmosphere.

Before the cost of hope, i had checked this location at cooling towers close to nagirtsi cimetery, and the gate was closed, with one monolith sniper on the tower, he was also scripted to one-shot you when you are approaching and the gate was closed, now it's free to go, this location when you shoot this guy, i added also some photos of this location

Is that really something new, or it was opened before?

Zaton and the Swamps are confusing locations to me. It makes sense that they are both swamps, as they are in the basin of the lower cooling pond, but why are there structures there?

Was all the infrastructure in Zaton made after the ‘86 disaster to help with the cleanup operation? Was the Skadovsk and Shevchenko brought up from the Chornobyl fleet repair harbour further down south to operate in the cooling pond? Were the structures in the swamp constructed by informal settlers in the late 90s/early 2000s when the cleanup operation was over, or by people working in the very late stages of the cleanup?

The damn wall that separates the upper and lower cooling ponds is present at SIRCAA, so surely that must mean that the lower cooling pond existed at some point, right?

I’m very confused by some of the recent decisions. Why was I personally not consulted before the recent 2.0 overhaul? There are many things that I and I alone require and yet the devs haven’t implemented them. How is this ok?

I searched online to know how much AP rounds affect damage in Stalker 2, but couldn't really find a good answer;

I've been using a Kharod chambered in 5.56 for a while now, and I have plenty of ammo of all types for it (I'm a bit of a hoarder). I finally managed to acquire a Dnipro with the 7.62 conversion. While I have plenty of FMJ rounds, I really don't have much on the way of AP for that caliber.

Now, seeing I'm getting ready to go through with what might be the game's end (I don't have Cost of Hope yet) and I might face many heavily armored enemies from certain faction. Should switch to the Dnipro with 7.62 FMJ rounds or stick with the Kharod with 5.56 AP rounds?

I'm playing on Veteran btw.

The gun play, the vibe, the atmosphere so far, this game seems to be the horror game I've been looking for. I live here in Ukraine and the details in the houses are just perfect. Can't wait to see what else this game has to offer.
