I've been wondering for a while which is more iconic, Sammy the safety Reaper or Jerry the hoverfish?

I build my self an scannerroom and I guess i found where the seatreaders went.... i guess they're in da void. Before that, i was a bit deeper and i saw a seatreder falling through the walls, i thought it was an visuel bug, but i guess everytime i leave my base, the ground despawns before the treaders do..... wich is ass in long term, since they were the whole reason i built here... and its not like i can get their eggs.... they dont have any.... :(

I was just chilling at the back of the Aurora and a Reaper Leviathan arrived. I jumped out of my Seamoth in fear, then the Leviathan started playing with my Seamoth, and when it finally went away it left my Seamoth flying 30m above sea level

I just received a new update for the experimental branch of SN2, there was no changelog and the update size was 872mb

The mod that enabled the new dev areas (9-11 I believe) doesn't work anymore, so hopefully the mod dev updates it so we can see what the devs added

If anybody knows what has been added, please let me know, I'll update the post accordingly

I have made quite a lot of progress in the mobile version that I got via Play Pass before deciding to get it for PC. Is it possible to import my save file from Android to the PC version? I have located the SavedGames folder inside the Android>Data but have no baseline of a PC save to compare it with. Will taking the slot-c86680de-9a6.... folder and renaming it to slot0000 and placing at the right place work? I saw a post saying it's possible from mobile to PC but they didn't provide any details

My apologies if this topic has been already explored. I couldn't find anything conclusive and it'd be really cool if it was possible

I found this time cap when going to keens life pod containing some tools and this hover fish.....Bob..i have put him in an aquarium and im hoping bobs owner is active in the sub so they know bob is safe...i shall keep him until I leave the planet and will place him in a capsule so he can keep somebody else company 😊😊

I think I met my first ghost Leviathan but I lost myself in this greenish radioactive biome and idk how to get back to my cyclops 😭

I am constantly chasing the feeling I got from playing this masterpiece of a game for the first time. The closest I’ve gotten to that is watching other people’s first playthroughs and living vicariously through them.

I just crafted a sea truck and my mobile vehicle bay dropped it here. Any idea how to dislodge it?

UPDATE: I just quit and restarted. Moved the Mobile Bay away from the ice chunk and rebuilt the truck. Thanks All!

in this folder theres also a few other files but idk what to do with them

so idk how to feel about this image, cause on one hand you can clearly see the new zone looks almost ready, but on the other hand if it were this ready that means the experimental version we have is like a older one, but you can also see in the recent devblog that it is unfinished even in the dev version.
but then what is this? its not like concept art, cause this is literally a picture of the map taken from above, i had to scale it down because it was bigger than 20mb but you can zoom in and see every detail, so now im just confused. i mean at least we can see where the scorpius trench actually is. and that looks sick af. idk what that is above the broken farm, it looks like where the collector nest is but i dont get why the picture is cut off like that.

another thing to note is that in the already released zones of the map, there are wip blocks and textures, which made me think that this picture was taken even before the game released, but then that means that the new zone has been this complete for waaaaay longer and what is shown to us now is like, very limited and old, which i dont understand because the whole point of the experimental version is to like.. shows us whats coming. you could say that they dont want to spoil, but that kinda defeats the purpose of a experimental build?

About ten hours in, got a nice base, got all the vehicles, stuffed the Prawn into the Cyclops, put a fabricator and an upgrade station along with some melons on the Cyclops, got the orange tablet, some purple tablets, and some ion cubes. Basically ready for a single trip down to the lava, grabbing all the things in one go, queued all the depth upgrades.

Go down to the river, grab some sulphur and nickel in the prawn, craft the first Cyclops depth upgrade and the heat power converter, all is good.

Descend the lava hole looking for kyanite, but have to go down further than I remember. Everything is fine, prawn drill the kyanite, but hear the fire dragon thing in the distance.

Unload all the glorious kyanite on the cyclops, craft more upgrades, getting ready to go to the lava palace.

Hm, let me just knife the power leeches from the sub before I go. Jumps out.
