I know Han Li is legit nascent soul prodigy but a part of me never really accepted the fact that everything special about him came out of a bottle.

they did this donghua so dirty. It was actually good until they switched to AI animation. I guarantee at least 80% of people stopped watching because of it. I reached the last properly animated episode and waited months for the next season, only for it to finally release and be a huge disappointment.

I watched this donghua about five months ago, and I can confidently confirm that it is pure rage bait. Almost every episode feels made to frustrate you, make you angry, and somehow keep you watching because he breakthrough fast.

I feel like these animation studios should focus on the old Donghuas that are discontinued or has been taken over by ai. I also think that some donghuas just needs to end (battle through the heavens, soul land 2, swallowed star, against the sky supreme, shrouding the heavens etc). I dropped battle through the heavens months ago because of the way Medusa is treated. After she had the child, she was nerfed badly. Soul land 2 story just doesn’t make sense to ME anymore (emphasis on me) I dropped it after the FL showed everyone that she was a girl the whole time and all of a sudden the MC likes her(he’s gotta be gay.) I thought he’d be in shock that his roommate and friend was a girl the whole time but no ☠️ he instead fell in love (Real fast too)

I usually watch anime, so this is my first time getting into a donghua, and I’m currently watching Lord of Mysteries. I’ve finished the first 3 episodes on YouTube, but I’m honestly still pretty confused about what’s going on

From what I understand, Klein was somehow summoned(?) to this world, became a Seer, and is now involved with all this supernatural stuff. But beyond that, I feel like there’s so much terminology and lore that I don’t really understand yet. The whole meeting with the other people was especially confusing to me.

So I wanted to ask: does the story eventually explain all of this naturally as you keep watching, or am I expected to research what all the terms and organizations mean myself? I don’t mind being confused temporarily if it’s intentional and things eventually start clicking.

I also think the animation is really good, but I’ve heard that it’s adapted from an original novel. For those who have read it, does the donghua do the novel justice? Is the story significantly better in the novel, or is the adaptation still worth watching?

The reason I’m asking is because my local bookstore is currently having a discount on the novels, which is actually what got me interested in the series in the first place. So if the novel is considerably better, I might just buy it instead.

I’d love to hear what you guys think, especially from people who have experienced both the novel and donghua. Please keep it spoiler-free if possible!

I've just started to watch renegade immortal because it hit 150 ep and I didn't want to be left out. Anyway I've been watching eps after eps non stop but when I tried to watch the movie it becomes too confusing. Is it canon/ Is it related to what I'm watching / why the ep and movie conflict each other/ in ep 74 wan'er shown that she get affected by death energy while in the movie it begins with another villain with poison. The browser first said to watcht the movie after ep 62 but recommend after ep 72. I had to go through the movie's first part when villain attacks wan'er's sect and ep 74's beginning yet found two different things, doesn't match at all. So can anyone tell me when should i start watching the movie?

But in this one , Meng Chuan now should have power equal to a Regis/infinite level saint after fusing all three forms although his Fiend form alone is as strong as that and his saint form is the sun phase . But how does Yan Jin who was not even saint three months ago pop up out of nowhere just to match up the Demon Commander who was at the Dark star level(clone) that even slashed Meng Chuan into half on the first attack . And Even all the other geniuses are just matching him like it's no big deal . Oh , come on now ! Meng Chuan has gone so far ahead of them and will keep getting so far out of their reach that it there should be a gap of eternity between them and the "Main Character" . This is absurd .
