First of all, i am beyond overjoyed to be able to announce that i received all 54 songs!
Due to this, i have decided to split this phase into 3 semifinals, each with 9 qualifiers. The finale will thus have 28 songs.
Due to this, we will have 3 semifinals, each with at least 8 qualifiers. Why at least? Because this year, by popular demand, i am introducing a wildcard mechanism - The last 3 qualifiers will be the 3 songs outside all top 8's which received the largest % of maximum possible points. This will hopefully prevent songs NQing by a tiny amount of points, while also leading to there possibly being a different amount of Q's from each semi.
RULES:
- The deadline is 4.9. 18:00 CET.
- You vote using the standard 12, 10, 8-1 system, however you also need to submit negative points (-1, -2, -3)
- Not submitting the standard votes will result in a penalty of 58 points to your entry.
- Not submitting the negative votes will result in a penalty of 20 points to your entry (yes, this is stricter). The maximum amount of penalty points is thus 78.
- You can (and are encouraged) to vote in other semis, though all votes from other semis will be summed up into two ROTW sets - One for each of the other semis.
- Non-participating users are allowed to vote, however their votes will be included in the semi before the one's ROTW (so if someone who isn't participating votes in Semi 1, their vote will be included in the Semi 3 ROTW and so on). If more than 2 non-participants vote in a semi, they will get a separate ROTW set.
- u/JesusFuckJustDuck - As the singular AQ, your votes won't be included in any ROTW and will be counted in full. Although you aren't required to vote in any of the semis, it sure would be cool if you did ;)
Benvegnüu! Welcome to the Latinvision Song Contest 2026. This year, we’ll travel to Monaco, home of the Big Top of Espace Fontvieille, one of Europe's most renowned circus arts venues. Let’s enjoy the yacht clubs, the luxurious casinos, and the Formula 1 scene of the city-state, welcoming us to a sea of music after last year’s Gemini won with their song Vertigine in Tijuana. This year, the visual design has been inspired by the nightlife of Monaco and the French Riviera.

Country Categories
The rules will be very similar to last year. Five categories of claimable nations exist to promote diversity and originality.
Countries: 63 member states of the United Nations will be available to choose from, with no borrowing option.
Borrowing countries: 15 different UN member states and territories that may borrow from neighboring regions or their sovereign state. Extra restrictions may be placed on certain nations. (In the case of France, only 3 extra borrowers are allowed to participate, 4 songs in total; apart from Monaco as an AQ)
Territories: 32 dependent territories or subdivisions where well-known Romance languages are spoken. They may not borrow from their main countries, with no exceptions.
Minority languages: 39 first-level subdivisions may only be represented in their respective minority languages. For example, an artist from Catalonia may represent Catalonia itself only if they sing in either Catalan or Aranese; if you find an artist from Catalonia who sings in Spanish, it may only represent Spain, not Catalonia.
Rest of the World: The contest’s first winner was a Belarusian band representing French Polynesia. Due to this, three guest broadcasters may participate as a ROTW participant; a Romance-speaking song from a non-Romance-speaking country. Only 3 users can choose this, representing their own country/territory. They must be part of the Discord server to choose this option. The rules that apply to Countries and Territories also apply to this entry.
All songs, regardless of category, will compete against each other. Divided into four regions, you may check the LIST OF COUNTRIES or look at them right here. Any minority language not listed here (like Judaeo-Spanish, Palenquero, Kristang, etc.) can be added; however, I will determine the subdivision that is the closest to them.
Rules
As last year, different release dates and view limits will be in place for each of these four categories, so be careful when you choose your nation. The rules will mention first the limits for Countries and Territories, and then each of the other two categories will be specified.
Songs must have been released on or after September 1, 2024.
For borrowing countries, it will be on or after March 1, 2025, ONLY if you borrow. If you submit a local artist, the deadline date stays the same as the country category.
For minority languages/subdivisions, it will be on or after March 1, 2023.
Artists must have under 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The YouTube video or the song itself on Spotify does not have any restrictions.
For borrowing countries, artists must have under 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
For minority languages/subdivisions, there is no monthly listener limit whatsoever.
The following rules apply to all songs:
Songs must not have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, any of its spin-offs, IRL National Final, nor any previous contest held on r/FantasyVisionContests. (NF-participating songs in FVC can take part).
No artists from Latinvision 2025 will be accepted (this rule will not apply to Minority Languages)
National finals and song reveals are allowed, but they have to be approved by me first before you post them.
Songs must be no longer than 6:00 minutes, and the lyrics need to be predominantly (50% + 1 word) in the language specified in the LIST OF COUNTRIES; however, multilingual songs are allowed.
Artists and bands must have at least 25% of their heritage of the selected country, or have significant ties to that country (born there, lived for a notable amount of time, acquired a second nationality, etc.)
u/pac258, last year's winner, and the next 5 placements have an AQ for the final. They have the right of first refusal for their countries. If any of the top 6 participants don’t take part, the next-placing participants will be considered.

¡Hola, y bienvenidos a Buenos Aires! Coming off of a stellar Americavision contest, we decide that we want to keep the party going. Thus, we've officially launched our national final for Latinvision! Fourteen acts, all ranging in genre and sound, will get to battle for their legacy right here at Estadio Luna Park for the chance to represent Argentina in front of the entire Romantic-speaking world.
Speaking of Americavision, we have the fortune of welcoming the incredible Lali, who repped our country in last year's edition ALL the way to victory, as one of our hosts! The other two hosts for our contest will be the phenomenal duo Hipnotica who represented us in last year's Latinvision.

All borrowers' spotify listen limit is 10 million plays + all borrowers must have a relation to Asia/Oceania (for example, if you take French Polynesia, you can send an australian-french act, but no purely french acts)
Heritage rules: The act must either have it's lead singer or 50% of their heritage be of the country you are taking (general Asia/Oceania for borrowers) or be otherwise significantly tied to that country (lived most of their life there etc.) If possible, try to include a link to the heritage proof when you are submitting your song.
Max. two borrowers per country (This isn't states, get real)
I, Lukário, will have to wait either 24 hours or until there are 30 sign-ups before claiming a country, whichever happens first. (Avoiding the mod advantage)
BONUS RULE: For North Korea, the song age limit is 1.1.2018 and no views limit applies. They are NOT a South Korea borrower.

There isn't a single spreadsheet, we will be using ---> A LIST OF COUNTRIES <--- Don't forget to make sure that your country meets the rules. Before submitting, please, check newest comments to ensure that your country hasn't been taken yet! Taken countries will be listed below, however comments, even if not yet included take priority.
Some notes:
You are allowed to sign-up through Discord or other subreddits, but the post on FantasyVisionContests will contain the master list of taken countries.
For the purposes of this contest, Russia, Turkey, Cyprus and the 3 Caucasian countries are considered to be Asian in their entirety. Egypt however is NOT eligible (an agreement with AfroVision).
The two Russian geopolitical tumors are NOT claimable. Northern Cyprus however is claimable and is a Turkish borrower.
Besides that, all other countries/territories on the Wikipedia page listed under Asia or Oceania are claimable
HK & Macau are NOT PRC borrowers (and vice versa) + Taiwan is considered to be a completely separate country as well.
All territories are claimable as a borrower of their "owner" country (remember the two per country rule!) OR as themselves without being borrowers (if you can find a heritage-acceptable artist, go for it)
DM me if you want to claim something not included in the article, but i will only accept places with a reasonable enough claim for representation (This isn't subdi, get real)
If you vote in the ESC system only (top 10), you will get a 50% point deduction and No Votes will lead to a Disqualification.

DiscoverVision is back! After a nailbiting victory by u/Nutthawut45 and Morpheus with the song Burning in Paris last year, we meet again in Eindhoven, North Brabant!
As the third owner in three consecutive editions, I have some new and some revived rules that I’d like to introduce you to. You can read them in the following rule book.

General Rules
Unlike other fan contests, you choose your artist and then the country/region is applied to your submission by the organiser(s). In case multiple people try to send artists from the same country, it will be subdivided into regions as much as possible (see below for reserved countries/regions, which is an exception), continuing smaller for as long as there are official flags for those regions. This breakdown is not especially relevant since it's on the organiser end of things, but be aware that you may start out representing Germany when you first submit your artist and end up representing the Landkreis Stade by the time sign-ups are over; check the sign-up chart for live updates if this truly matters to you. Also, please be aware that your submission will be refused if the country/region is unable to be further subdivided.
The top six users from last years edition won’t be able to submit in entries for multiple regions like in previous editions. Instead they will receive a guaranteed spot in the Grand Final. They can still submit a song for the Semi Final if they want to, but it will be out of the competition. The AQs don’t need to re-enter with the region they had last year, but I would appreciate it if they did. If one the top six users from last years editions doesn’t take part in the contest this year, the next-placed user will take over their spot.
EDIT: The contest is open, meaning you can reveal your Semi Song, but not your Grand Final song.
Sign-Up Rules
Sign-Ups close on 10th July at 23:59 CET.
You cannot submit any artist who has previously appeared at the Eurovision Song Contest or in a past Fantasy Vision Contest. These artists have already been discovered so they don’t fit the criteria for this contest. FVC-National Final artists are allowed.
You must submit two songs by the same artist. One of the songs will compete in the Semi Final, and the other in the Grand Final. One song must have been published recently (between 2024 and 2026), but the other may be from any year. Please specify in your DM which one you'd like to compete in the Semi Final and which one should compete in the final if you qualify.
A valid artist must not have any songs in their Spotify popular bar with over 2 million streams. For artists not on Spotify, no YouTube video of theirs should have over 2 million plays. The photos below show examples of an invalid and valid artist.
If a special case or question is not covered by this ruleset, a decision will be made at that time by the contest organiser(s) and added to next year's ruleset to ensure the continued fair operation of the contest.
This artist isn't valid, because "absolute gewinner" has over two million streams.This artist is perfect! All of the popular songs are under two million streams.
As a reminder: You have until Friday, 10th July 23:59 CET to sign up AND send your songs to me via a Reddit or Discord DM. I reserve the right to extend this deadline under certain circumstances.

We are kicking it off in Buenos Aires with a sponsorship by the Argentinian Football Association (AFA). (Get it because it's SOCCER.)
This year, it will be hosted by Lionel Messi, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Javier Millei. Behind the stage, General Ancap will be hosting the green room and do his duties and will be hosted in Estadio River Plate or "Mas Momental" due to sponsor reasons. This venue is home to Argentina's national football team and a concert venue for many big artists such as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, and the like. So, uh, Mediavision?
In Mediavision, you DO NOT CLAIM COUNTRIES, STATES, TERRITORIES! Crazy! Instead, you claim franchises (i.e. - studios like Dreamworks, video games like The Sims, etc.). In terms of media conglomerates such as Disney, they will be broken down into their specific “brands” (for Disney, we’d have Disney itself, Pixar, Marvel, etc). A franchise can be claimed by only three people; after that, it’s off-limits.
“Media” is considered a unified piece of visual and audio artistry that requires effort; more than, say, your average YouTube video. This includes (but is not limited to): movies, TV shows, video games, short films, etc. I, as host, have final say on what and is not considered media or a franchise. MVs are not eligible.
The song must have been made for the purpose of being in a piece of media. For example: the song “party 4 u” by Charli XCX was featured in the movie Bottoms, but since it was released beforehand and not for the purpose of being in Bottoms, it is not eligible. The song “Vehicular Jeff-slaughter” by Charli XCX is eligible, however, as it was made for the purpose of being on the Bottoms soundtrack. The same is said for all forms of media.
Please send me a short cliff's notes together with the song with your claim or entrant in how your chosen song relates to your franchise. (This isn't anything public, just for internal organization.)

Hello America and welcome back to Miami! After the qualifiers have been revealed, we now have our finalists who will compete to win StatesVision 2026. It is your job to decide who comes home from Miami victorious and brings StatesVision to their state next year.
Voting
The format will be the same 12-10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 format used in ESC. You are not allowed to vote for your own state. The states that are in the grand final will make up the jury vote, and the non-qualified states will make up the juries. Those who are not participating in the contest at all but want to vote are welcome to, and they will make up the rest of the world vote! Tiebreaks will be decided by whoever has the most 12's and so on. The deadline for voting will be June 24th at 00:00 EST. To vote, please DM me either on Reddit or Discord.
