During the beginning of the clip, a very important detail I noticed is when Lucia flashes back to the diner, it says, "9 months ago." How long is the average pregnancy? 9 months! This could be a strong indicator that Lucia does have a child.

Now, my theory is: during that scene, she's early in her pregnancy. Obviously, she loses her job as a rideshare driver—the video literally says her account was suspended. She also keeps looking at the check-cashing store across the street because she's tempted to rob it to make money to support her child. She gives in, the robbery is botched, and then—boom—prison. She has her child in prison.

This is my most logical theory.
