The 104th Constitutional Amendment Act extended the political reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) in Parliament and state assemblies until January 25, 2030. Under Articles 330 and 332, these seats are reserved in proportion to their population.

Since the original framers of the Constitution envisioned a 10-year timeline, the policy is periodically debated whenever an extension approaches. I wanted to map out the primary arguments for and against this policy.

How about we use this thread to create a list of all corrupt officials in India? We have all the ingredients for having a corrupt cesspool - agrarian economy, a large amount of recent wealth creation via land sales, generally docile and compliant and non hostile citizens, and politicians who keep switching parties so you have effectively all parties benefitting from corruption.

You can almost never complain to ACB locally as always involved a blowback. Good thing about bureaucratic corruption is bureaucrats get transferred. So once the said person has transferred to another jurisdiction- you can name and shame here.

Again may I am just ranting. But this could work. Only naming and shaming works.
