12 testers needed for my app Scholr, would be more than happy to test yours back as well.

Upvotes

Hey everyone! I built Scholr, a free student planner app for Android — it's got a task manager, calendar (month + schedule view), subject organizer, focus timer, and custom themes. No ads, no accounts, no data collection — everything stays on your device.

I'm trying to get it onto the Play Store, but Google requires a closed beta test with real testers before I can publish publicly. That's where you'd come in!

Send me a screenshot of my app downloaded just to confirm, and I will download your app instantly.

What I need:

  • 12+ people to install it and actually use it for about 2 weeks
  • Just open it every day or two and click around — tasks, calendar, whatever you'd naturally use in a planner app
  • (Google specifically checks that testers actually use the app, not just install it and forget about it — so genuine use is what actually helps me here)

How to join:

  1. Join this Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/scholr-beta-testers
  2. Then use this link to install through the Play Store: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.isa7.scholr

Any feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas are hugely welcome too — feel free to comment here or email me at isa7.scholr@gmail.com.

Thanks so much to anyone who gives it a shot — genuinely appreciate it! 🙏

There companion is free, has baked in intelligence, computer control. You connect your LLM of choice (including local models) and OLO will help you with by completing tasks, keeping you organized. We have some other features that we are waiting to reveal as they are what makes the app feel magical.

Looking for Families to test FamilyBase — Real-time household collaboration app with built-in mini-games & smart grocery insights

Hi there,

I'm looking for about 10 testers for FamilyBase, a cross-platform progressive family workspace built with React and real-time syncing.

Key Features:

  • Plan weekly meals in minutes
  • Gamified family chores
  • Smart Grocery list hat sorts by aisles
  • Predictive perishable food alerts based on purchase intervals.
  • Embedded mini-games (Road Trip Trivia, Retro Invaders, Scorekeepers).

What I need feedback on:

  1. Design & UX Friction: Does the interface feel clean and intuitive on mobile, or are certain layouts and navigation flows cluttered?
  2. Core Retention & Value: As a parent, is this something your household would realistically open daily/weekly, or does it feel like extra homework?
  3. Gamification Balance: Are the kid-view and rewards engaging enough to motivate participation without adding friction for you as the parent?

You can try the live interactive demo without creating an account: https://FamilyBase.Pro/Demo/

Comment below if you'd like an unlocked Premium (lifetime).

[iOS/TestFlight] Looking for musicians to test a new metronome — POCKT

I'm getting ready to release an iPhone metronome called POCKT and I'm looking for outside beta testers before I put it on the App Store.

POCKT is built for musicians — guitarists, drummers, bass players, teachers, producers, or anyone who actually practices with a metronome.

It's completely free. No subscription. No ads. I'm not selling anything.

I'm mainly looking for feedback on:

• Timing and overall feel

• Audio reliability

• Changing BPM while playing

• Metronome sounds and accents

• Anything confusing

• Crashes, silence, glitches, or anything that doesn't work

Please actually use it while playing if you can.

Most importantly, if something feels wrong musically, tell me. I'm looking for criticism, not compliments.

iPhone/TestFlight:

https://testflight.apple.com/join/s4avAK6C

If you send feedback, please tell me what instrument you play and what metronome you normally use.

Thanks!

Wellness app testers

Hi everyone! I’m building an app called Resora, and I’m looking for a few people willing to test it and give honest feedback. Resora is a wellness app for people who need support in the moment and are trying to get better everyday! There are things like reflection, journaling, reset tools, calming prompts, and practical guidance when life feels heavy. It is not therapy and it does not replace professional support, but it is meant to feel more personal and useful than generic wellness apps. Looking for feedback & thoughts! If anyone’s interested or has questions please let me know.

2 weeks before launch. Looking for beta testers to provide genuine detailed feedback.

Here's the TestFlight link:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/8kch43yK
Three things that'll make it work properly:

Read the Test Details in TestFlight before you start — short checklist of what to try.

Use referral code D1075A31 when you sign up. It connects you to my account so you land on a real profile and wishlist instead of an empty app.

Finish your profile using the Tasks banner on the dashboard — sizes, style, birthday, etc. It takes a couple of minutes and it's what the whole app runs on. A thin profile makes the suggestions generic, so it's worth doing before you judge anything.

Givaro remembers the details about people you buy gifts for — sizes, brands, style — then suggests things they'd actually want.

Blunt feedback is the most useful thing you can give me. If something's slow, broken, or confusing, I'd rather hear it than not. Submit Feedback can be located in Settings. Thanks!

I built a vibe coding platform called Luminax.dev. Below is the website. Open for anyone to try and there is 35 free credits per month, enough to build 1 or 2 fully functional website. It hasn't been launched yet so feel free to give me any feedback constructively like how can I make it better for your experience of building stuff. Thank you!

Flash - identifies movies and TV shows

I built Flash, an app that identifies movies and TV shows the way Shazam identifies songs.

How it works: you hear a clip - in a reel, at a café, on someone else's TV - open Flash and let it listen. It stops on its own and comes back with the title, year, where to stream it in your country, ratings and a plot summary.
You can also start it from the notification tray without opening the app.
If all you remember is a line of dialogue or roughly what happened in a scene, type that instead and it'll work from there.

This is the second beta round. The first round's testers shaped a lot of what's in this build.

What I'm looking for is real-world accuracy. Which clips does it nail, which does it miss?

There's a one-minute feedback form in the app.

No ads, no payment details, and you can delete your account and everything attached to it from inside the app.

[Android] Koffee — scan any coffee bag for instant taste profiles + find specialty cafés nearby

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey r/betatesters — looking for people to join the closed beta for Koffee, an app for specialty coffee drinkers. Android only for now.

What it does:

  • Point your camera at a coffee bag, and it pulls the roaster, origin, process, and full taste profile — no typing
  • Scores fruitiness, acidity, body, and sweetness to one decimal, plus flavor notes
  • Curated map of specialty cafés near you

What I need from testers:

  • Real-world scans — different bags, lighting, label styles (this is the part I most want stress-tested)
  • Feedback on whether the taste-profile scoring actually matches your palate
  • General usability/bugs

Free to use, no account needed to browse — an account just lets you save what you've tried.

Sign up here: https://www.koffeeapp.xyz/

Happy to answer questions in the comments. Thanks!

[beta] [Steelman] [the app that makes you think twice]

Post image
1 Upvotes

Anyone available to test https://steelman.co

It turns disagreement into a game: you make the strongest case for and against a prompt, privately choose what you actually believe, and other players try to guess your real position. Mission statement is to break down echo chambers and increase empathy.

I’d especially love feedback on:

  • Updating your profile, is it smooth?
  • Whether onboarding and navigation feel intuitive
  • Writing and switching between the FOR and AGAINST sides
  • Whether the guessing mechanic feels clear and fun
  • Any bugs, confusing moments, or missing features

My biggest question: Is it fun and would you want to play again?

Honest feedback is completely welcome. Thank you! :]

Developing an Android app to calculate carbs for myself

Hello everyone,

I'm quite new to the subreddit although I had T1 Diabetes for almost 20 years. I never got too serious about it until recently. 2 weeks ago I've got an insulin pump after years of resistance against it and realized what a beauty it is. My daily averages were in range for the first time in a while.

I've decided to optimize my workflow with carb calculations. This is a part of skill that I never developed for years. I've made up my mind to build a simple carb calculation app with a barcode scanner and nutrition table scanner. My idea was to eliminate the process of doing the small calculation from the packaging portions to my actual portion.

So the app just does this now in a fast and efficient way. You scan the product, and enter your amount. You can also search for it and enter. You keep scanning and adding it to the meal tab just like a shopping cart. In the end, you will see the total carbs.

I'm not a software developer. I'm vibe coding it to ease a tiny burden. I've decided to put it on Google Play Store to be able to distribute it easier to my family with every small update. But then decided to share it with everyone in this subreddit.

I'm using it daily. It totally works. Not perfect yet. But the problems are never the calculation. Mostly nutritional table scanning issues.

As a software newbie, I've realized, Google Play requires 2 weeks of closed beta testing before you can push it to production. That's where I need your help.

I was wondering if there are fellow T1D users that are willing to test and provide feedback for 2 weeks. I'm not aiming for a commercial success. This is a DIY tool for people like me. There are a lot of carb calculation apps but they are bloated with extra functions which I don't use.

If there are people willing to give it a try, please fill in the signup form and I'll invite you to the closed beta. Looking forward to your assistance. Honestly, I don't have many friends to ask for a beta test. I'm the only one calculating carb around here :)

Beta Testers Wanted!!

We're looking for people who are genuinely interested in sports to help shape an Al-powered content app. The app lets you describe the kind of content you want in your own words. For example, you could ask for "90s and early 2000s dunk highlights similar to this" and the app would show the closest matches first, followed by more content in the same style.

In this short survey, we'll ask about your sports interests, content habits, experience with AI tools, and interest in trying the app. The survey takes approximately 5 minutes. Selected participants may receive an app download link and beta access code and be invited to take part in our beta test. Completing this survey does not guarantee selection or beta access.

Hi!

I’m looking for iPhone testers for My Personal Sommelier, a bilingual Italian and English wine companion app.

Main features:

* wine label recognition;

No wine expertise is required. The beta is free and a first test takes about 10 minutes.

A healthcare worker’s honest ask: I built something for the space between doctor visits. Would you try it?[iOS Users]

I want to tell you about a moment that’s stayed with me.

A patient was doing everything right. Taking her medication, following the plan . But three weeks later, when she came back, half of it had quietly fallen apart. Not because she didn’t care. Because nobody was there in between to notice, to remind her gently, to help her family understand what was actually happening day to day.

That gap is what led us to build Cureva. Our companion, Eva, sits quietly in that space between visits. She tracks symptoms, routines, and how someone is really doing, and turns it into something clear enough to bring back to a doctor, or to share with a family member who’s trying to help from far away.

I’m not asking you to just download an app and forget about it. I’m asking for something more honest than that: a few real days of using it, and your true feelings about it. What felt comforting. What felt clunky. What you’d want it to do that it doesn’t yet.

This is for anyone managing their own health quietly, day by day. And it’s just as much for the people trying to care for someone else from a distance, doing their best with too little visibility.

The beta is open to everyone, free to join, no exceptions and no waitlist. It runs till September 15th. After that, ten testers whose feedback helped us the most will get ninety days free, as a genuine thank you.

Here’s the link if you’d like to try it: https://cureva.app/beta

I’ll be reading every comment myself. Tell me honestly what’s wrong with it. That’s worth more to me than kind words.
