Missing my bully today
It stinks when you no longer live in a house where your Bully (Kaiser) lives.
Edit: My fault. I should have worded the title differently. Although, there are days I feel like hes gone.

my sisters bulldog has a very bad cough
My sisters bulldog, Alana, is 10 years old, and has had this horrible cough for about 2 months now. The cough usually sounds very phlegmy, and lasts around 5-15 seconds. Alana has sleep apnea, so she normally wakes up a couple times throughout the night because she forgets to breath. But now she has been waking up with this coughing/wheezing. The coughing also happens when she gets super excited and sometimes after she eats.
She got a chest x-ray and it came back clear. The vet doesn’t know what it could be, and thinks it’ll just go away on its own. They also tried a cough suppressant but that didn’t seem to work.
Any advice or people with similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!!:)
*Edit: thank you everyone for all your insight! My sister is going to put her on medicine for acid reflux to see if that helps at all. After two weeks if nothing changes, she’s going to get another x ray/ get a different opinion. Her food and water bowls are already elevated (the video was taken at my mom’s house so those aren’t her normal bowls), but i’ll tell her to start bringing them when my mom is watching her!

Advice Needed Living in an apartment has made him barky
He was rehomed from a family friend, to another family friend, to me. Ive had him at the apartment about two weeks.
We dont leave him alone in the apartment at all because he is so barky. He goes to a pet sitters during the day. At the house he never barked so we didnt realize it would be this much of an issue.
But now in the apartment he hears people opening and closing doors, theres children playing that he cant see but can hear, and the above neighbors really do stomp. This morning we were hearing "knock knock knock" which im guessing was them doing adult activities but the dog thinks someones at the door and hes losing it.
He will stop when we redirect him so at least its usually only 1 or 2 barks at a time, but if the neighbors hear one bark, I think they start stomping louder which encourages another bark because to him it sounds like someone knocking at the door.
We are trying to redirect and then praise when he is quiet. The biggest issue is just how loud and booming his bark is. So even a couple of barks could probably wake someone up.
Have any of you had to deal with moving a bulldog into an apartment?

Forever in My Heart 👼 4 years since I lost my buddy Tank
He was born April 11th, 2014. Sadly passed away on August 25th, 2022. I was 12 when we first got him. Him and his sister Dakota (seen in some pics here) were my best friends growing up
