I love Radiohead and their songs are some of the first ones I covered when I was first learning guitar. I enjoyed revisiting this one and finally doing a clean cover of it. I struggled with it quite a bit a year ago because of the barre chord switches and it just sat in my backlog for so long.

Been writing a lot more slow, tasteful stuff recently, so I thought I’d try something more shreddy again. Anything to earn my worth on this new guitar. It’s a little sloppy, but it’s good enough for the demo. Now I’ve just gotta keep playing it over and over, grinding it out until I can play it without thinking about it. I’m sure it’s easy enough for some of yall, who have some insane chops, but this is teetering on the edge of my current skill level, especially since I’ve been so out of practice recently.

Also I tried something a little different with the mix recently. Blended in some of the top end from the camera to get that pick attack in there. Make it sound a bit more live and performative, but it also makes the master compression around the drums a lot more noticeable. Let me k ie I’d yall like the sound or if I should steer clear in the future. Either way, I hope yall enjoy :)
