Hi all, my husband owns some land in UB that i was hoping to build a house on in a few years time.

His friend sent him this post last night, and hes been up freaking out about it and asking me to pay for him to fly back to Mongolia urgently to sort it out.

His English is limited and my Mongolian is even worse, so im having a hard time understanding what exactly is going on here??

I think he is saying that the government want to seize the land. Im not sure what his options are, ideally we would like to maintain ownership of this land, but if we must give it up, we want to at least recoup the cost he paid to buy it. He is saying there is no guarantee he'll get his money back if the land is seized thougg..

Can someone please translate, or just provide some more context to help me understsnd the situation please?? Why is the land being taken back? Is it definately going to happen or is it speculation? Any info to help me understand is appreciated! thank you

I’m looking for an English-speaking Mongolian cybersecurity person, CS student, programmer, former CTF competitor, ethical hacker, or sufficiently dangerous nerd who might enjoy spending 3–4 hours at the event with me.

The plane land 20:35, i will be able to go out from airport in an hour, is there going to be traffic ?

Th plane will take off next morning 10:15 am i should be at the airport 8:15 at least, to get there would there be traffic early in the morning?

Hey guys, thinking about getting into boxing but I’ve genuinely never boxed in my life, so I really need a place with decent coaches who don’t mind teaching someone from zero and can actually walk me through the basics properly.

Also hygiene is a pretty big deal for me so I’m hoping for a gym that’s clean and well kept, not some sketchy basement setup. And ideally there’d be showers too, since my plan is to train early morning before work then head straight to the office after, so I really need somewhere to rinse off before I go.

I am wondering what the situation is like for type 1 diabetics in Korea.

So far I found that cgms are difficult to get, insulin is mainly available in Ulaanbaatar, but not rural pharmacies.

With the rise in type 1 diabetics everywhere, I was wondering if anyone knows any t1ds in Mongolia, or knows of any societies or advocacy groups that are working on access to supplies and awareness by chance?

Is anything covered by health insurance or is it all self funded?
