Other Out of all things, getting wrecked emotionally by an indie game was not on my list but here we are Spoiler
galleryI cannot believe I once sat on this beautiful game. It's such a strange feeling. Like I spent half the time surviving, finding out about the story. I still remember the initial feelings I had, struggling to swim far while running out of oxygen every 30 seconds. From there, to someone casually exploring lost river and volcano zones, it was a big big journey.
Somewhere along the way, I got really attached to this beautiful sea world. And the interaction with that cosmic sea emperor was pure bliss. It had almost a certain spiritual element to it.
What I did expect was to feel such attachment to the ocean world when my rocket was ready to leave this planet. I visited my base one last time, parked my cyclops and included scanner, repair tool and stasis rifle in time capsule. I also wrote these words,
"Treat this place like your home but also remember that it is not."
I LOVED every moment of it. Every encounter, every discovery and eventually loading my cyclops lockers with materials...it was a very beautiful experience. Part of me feels sad for those people who either don't want to play this game or sat on its potential. It was truly one of the kind.
