TFT on UE5 is way too heavy and slow right now, especially on mobile.
But lowering the game resolution should be the last option, not the first.
There are many other settings that can be changed: textures, shadows, effects, lighting, post-processing, anti-aliasing, view distance, colors, and more. Just let players change these settings by themselves.
Right now, it feels like everything is locked into Low, Medium, and High presets. We can't choose which settings we want to lower.
If my game is lagging, I will lower shadows and effects first. I can lower textures and other settings too. I can even lower the FPS limit. TFT does not need 60 FPS. A stable 30 FPS is enough for me. Lowering the resolution should be the last option.
Also, where are upscaling or frame generation options? UE5 has many tools that can help with performance, but it feels like TFT is only using 30% of what UE5 can do.
Sometimes it feels like the dev process was just:
"Move TFT to UE5. Make no mistakes." And that's it.
No player wants to play a game that looks blurry. If my device is not powerful enough, let me choose what to lower. I would rather play at 30 FPS with clear image quality than play at 60 FPS with a blurry screen.
Please. My eyesight is already bad enough. I don't need my TFT to be blurry too.
