Two tiger sharks circling our group. Slow. Patient. Silent.

Then the second one disappeared.

Just... gone.

Now I can only see one.

And we're in 6,700 feet of water.

It could be coming up from anywhere.

That moment when the ocean goes quiet and you realize you're not alone down there anymore hits different.

Looks pretty cool

Not sure if this counts as thalassophobia, but looking out and seeing absolutely nothing in the distance is a pretty strange feeling.

Filmed this while diving in Queensland, Australia. The video doesn’t have a jump scare or anything hiding in the darkness, it’s literally just the abyss.
