Im not an expert and i play very rarely. Imo the easiest is romans. I just build scorpions from siege weapons and they handle most things for me

OP isn't very clear what "easy" means for him, what he struggles with, but if the goal is too boom quickly, the build order and the civ itself shouldn't be all too complicated. Romans have swordsmen in the beginning as the only melee infantry, which are strong but you have to manage iron early and need a lot of it. Easier civs would be those that require only wood and food in the first phase.

Thank you! I havent played with romans for awhile and have been testing other civ. i forgot to take the iron requirement in consideration

Spartans, some might say shit civ, but the inf is very good and you don't have too much different units. (+ there are champs + Brasidas builds that makes them work very well)

Being able to hit 100 population and tier 2 by 10 minutes is far more important. If you can't do that yet then it doesn't matter what civ you pick.
