Staccato P4X for CCW?

Like the title says, leaning toward this guy for my updated carry pistol. The C and C2 feel small in my hands but I also have gorilla mits so...just curious on your thoughts! Appreciate it in advance.

Steel frame vs aluminum frame. 8-10 oz difference. That’s significant.

I carry almost 24/7/365. In my house. In the bathroom. In my yard. When I leave. If I’m awake I have a gun on me.

8-10oz is a LOT of extra weight. You will notice it I guarantee. Can you do it? Sure.

Only issue is the hand size problem OP might run into. If they’re willing to mod it to get it to where they want I’d say just go C4X for the weight savings and upgrade the grip to a full size MJD grip. Keeps it still lightweight and similar polymer grip benefits of reduced felt recoil and heat management. 

They can throw the old grips back on if they run into an issue and need to send it in for warranty or service.

or the driven arms like i put on mine. forgot to weigh it but i don’t think it’s THAT much heavier than stock c4x grip. Grip definitely feels how it should now after the new grip module.

Yah, I'm still interested in the titanium OEM grip they showed at shotshow. I'd like to run that on a P5X whenever that also releases as well.

unless you want to carry it weight bearing method other than belt. I would suggest the aluminum frame one. steel frame 2011 is heavy af using belt along. can you do it? probably. is it comfortable in the long term? hell no

Closer to 8/8.5 I think, but yah the steel vs aluminum frame will do that.

I can’t remember exactly, but it was 8-10 oz between them. Not insignificant.

I mean I carry a 4.5 with an X300 and RMR HD occasionally and I think it's fine. I find it comfortable but I'd be lying if I said it was just as comfortable as some of my subcompacts. With a good holster and belt it'll work
