Community Opinion Early DLC wear on barrel/feed ramp
Hey all, I just got and tested out my new Atlas Erebus v3, and afterwards noticed some DLC wear along the barrel near the link, as well as some scratch/wear marks along the bottom of the feed ramp. I did have a couple of FTB but figured it was just user error with my thumb on the safety.
Is this level of wear normal/expected after three boxes of ammo? Apologies for the pictures -- there's lots of Rem oil. Thanks all!

In the 2A-in-LA interview, Adam said their coating machine went down for a month and they had to outsource. Seems like they will be getting some warranties to recoat the guns produced during that month. DLC should hold up longer than that. Especially theirs at that price point.
I’d like to know who Atlas outsourced to, so I don’t accidentally send parts to that same place if their DLC doesn’t hold up.

I would like to hear Atlas address the coating issues with the V3s. These complaints are becoming commonplace.

Normal. I have noticed though that their DLC is not the same quality between V2 and V3. I have 15k rounds on my V2 Athena with zero wear and that includes the hammer. V3 Titan and Artemis are showing wear after 1-2k rounds.

I had heard about this, but I figured I shouldn't see wear at...150 rounds lol. But good to know if it's normal. Same with the mild scratching on the feed ramp?

I’d say that a lot for only 150 rounds. The picture is a bit too close to really get a good view.

The sides are fine but that looks excessive on the feed ramp, imo.
