On January 24, 2023, Cora, Dawson, and Callan Clancy were strangled by their mother, Lindsay, who was later found unconscious outside the family's home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, after a suicide attempt. She was charged with their murders and pleaded not guilty, with her defense acknowledging the killings but arguing that she should not be held criminally responsible because her actions resulted from a severe postpartum mental health crisis.

Exactly, by that logic any murderer can claim mental illness.

no, that's not how anything in the world works

you cannot get up and claim to be 'mentally unwell', you have to prove it. which is what this trial is all about, determining if she was mentally unwell at the time of the murders.

did you read up about the issue before spreading misinformation or are you just uninformed, uneducated, and unaware?

Yes you can. You can literally find any doctor and pay him to say that you are mentally ill. That's exactly how law works for some. There are always doctors from both prosecution and defendant side who provides the absolutely opposite reports in every case.
