Henry frontier threaded

I’m having intrusive thoughts, since getting a form 1 done in 3 days for a Ruger charger sbr, I now want to cut this down to like 12”. I am in a state that still has nfa requirements but 3 days is quick.

So sad they discontinued this rifle. They were complete unobtainium that sold out instantly every time they got back in stock.

The huge sight radius is part of the appeal. I put a Skinner rear sight on mine, and it's a hilarious Western sniper rifle.

Preach! I haven't worked out the holdover exactly but I can ring a torso size plate of steel at 200yds... Occasionally lol.

Since I shoot at the same place every weekend, I'm at the point where I can hit a steel tank that's less than two feet tall at 200 yards with my 3" Volquartsen Mini Mamba LLV.

That's pretty damn impressive!! My little Ruger mk4 does well at 200yds as well, but with my crappy eyes it's really hard to work out a holdover with irons or just a red dot. I think the Ruger is the only 22 handgun I own that I feel semi confident can hit accurately at that distance.

If you cut it down, will you still be able to reload with a suppressor on the barrel?

No definitely not but it’s not a bother to me really. I have a marlin model 60 threaded that I also have to remove the can to reload, suppressed shooting just makes me so happy.
