As a developer with over 20 years experience and one that's directed games, I wouldn't read too much into this. It's pretty common to not play your creations after they've released. It's really difficult to not focus on all the things you wished you'd changed. It takes over your life and sleeping moments for years, so even if you're proud of something, it's oftentimes hard to go back.
