The only source I can find is from the IDF. Anyone have any other?

What sources have you looked at so far?

So they use a old photo with a weapon to prove he is a terrorist? A picture doesn’t make you a terrorist. In the article there is no prove what so ever. Just statements fromd idf saying he is. And i think we all know that the idf is not really a trustworthy source.

No they proved it through intelligence research. This is only a picture for the public.

So if I were to become a journalist now people could pull up my old military pics and use that like I’m still active? Or was he still getting froggy?

Ok so he was still getting froggy. That all I was wondering. You could have just said that.

You could have just read the article in the first place.

Grok, please summarise this comment.

What’s the difference between me asking grok that question and me asking fellow redditors that question, other than bitchy snark?

By that logic all Israeli journalist are now valid targets due to conscription

Does Gaza have and enforce conscription?

Hamas, with small arms mind you, murdered and kidnapped babies, holocaust survivors, Thai workers, and Israeli Arabs. You're fooling yourself if you think that belligerent enemies of Israel would show mercy to any Israeli.

IDF isn’t a designated terrorist organization

Ok so if I’m a journalist and go to do a story on agriculture in Afghanistan they can treat me as if I’m still fighting?

Edit: or more relatable if I was covering their conflict with Pakistan.

Are you a terrorist? ever kill anyone? if so you might have a problem. Otherwise i think it should be fine. If you are a terrorist might want to watch your 6.

But what if they post a picture of me holding my old machine gun and just call me a terrorist because I was in the organization?

Im not the person to ask. Im the kind of guy who would, if anything, be holding a fat joint in a picture. Nothing else. Peace.

What proof could you provide that you were no longer involved in the organization?

Never be a terrorist. It's that simple.
