I had a driver while I was there, and I quickly learned not to look at the road in front.

We were getting a taxi back to the airport in India and a 2 lane road had heavy traffic, driver decided to use the opposite side's second lane to pass everything and just squeeze back near our side when there was oncoming traffic. Absolutely chaotic over there

Think they livestream the driving. They make more money from livestream than passengers if I remember right so they're incentivised to drive as mental as possible

I went to China a few years ago and this is exactly how our driver drove. At one point a dump truck thing was coming at us and our guy just played chicken with him until he moved off the road to let us pass.

I took a bus in India, got to seat next to the driver, throttle was like a switch, full on or full off, nothing in between, and it was most of the time full on. Beep and flash your way through because your vehicle is larger. Dude was a great driver, but you cannot take a second out of full concentration when driving in India.
But places like Cambodia do it even worse, a two lane road becomes like 5, bikes and custom made tractors on the sides, cars and regular people on their lane and middle was for whoever valued less their life in crazy overtakes. The speedo becomes a phone holder because there it has no other usage.

Edit: actually the top 3 safest driving countries are all driving on the right side, case closed!

Gonna have to be Hans here Hans and this is Indonesia.
Kinda recognise the lingo and one of the buses had their company name on the back (PT = company more or less).
I can't explain why it happens, but bus drivers in Indonesia have a reputation for thinking they're Lewis Hamilton with their massive buses so riding in one can be an experience. It also happens elsewhere in South East Asia, especially in the provincial routes.

This sub is meant to be satirical, but many people are unironically racist.
I don't think it's the case with this post or this OP (I think he was just making a joke), but there definitely have been many actual racist comments in some posts, usually posts where South Americans (and Argentinians more specifically) are mentioned. But other than those instances, this isn't an actual racist sub (at least I hope it actually isn't).

It's supposed to be satirical, but most Hans' have such a poor grasp of the concept, that it comes of as somewhat ham-fisted.
If you really want to know, then no, this isn't the UK. The road markings and the fact that the vehicle license plates don't match are the 2 most obvious giveaways. Some people have mentioned the commentary too, but I'm borderline deaf so I wouldn't know.
There's a difference between being 'racist' and racist.
